“Nice hotel, central location and quiet neighborhood setting with great a free parking garage. Breakfast was included and has a good selection of options. Room nice, no heat vent in bathroom. The sink/vanity is outside the bathroom with no wall to separate from the bed area, so the light is very bright. A dimmer switch or nightlight option would help make it more usable during the night. Common areas are nice, everything is clean. Didn't use the pool because it was full of children. A girls dance team was here during our first night and they were extremely loud in the hallways and inside their rooms. Not enough to complain to the hotel staff though. Overall, a positive stay and I'd definitely return if ever back in Columbus.”

The breakfast isn't tasty, the gym is missing 50% is it's weights and only 1 is the 3 treadmills works.... The curtain doesn't really go down and the heater doesn't work great, and the bathroom door is broken but the sheets are soft and it's relatively quiet. It's worth the cost, and the staff truly make up for any of the cheapness.”

If there was one item I'd take exception to is a lack of easy handicapped accessibility to the hotel from the non-handicapped designated parking area (you would need to go around to the road entrances if steps are an issue).”

“Very nice hotel. The proximity to the stadium was great! Rooms were clean and the staff were all very nice. The beds and pillows were comfy. My only complaint is the entranceway is a little cumbersome to get to. There's no alternative to valet parking, and waiting in line to be parked took a LONG time. I am surprised the city allowed this arrangement since it blocks traffic. Overall though, I would definitely stay again.”

“I'm a Hampton customer. I chose Hampton because of our past experience with the brand. This location did not meet up to those prior experiences. Room 304 needs some love. This location needs some updating in the bathrooms. It was a let down to see the state of it. The shower is grimy at the top like someone can't reach. Also has mildew/mold stained caulk and corners. The toilet tips from side to side with any movement. The conditioner was empty. On my first day I had to ask for more toilet paper and tissue as the room was left with less than half a roll and no back up. Not a huge deal in life but for $176 a night it is for me. The microwave was also left with someone's old food in it. I refused to open it. I did report this to the front desk and the attendant did look as disturbed as I felt and took notes. No one ever came to remedy any of it. The pool was ice cold. The very first step into the water was unbearable! So that was out! Really bummed. The plus was breakfast options. Hampton always does a nice job with their breakfast. I am gluten free and appreciate the basic scrambled eggs and breakfast meats.”

A friend recommended this hotel since it was close enough to the Greater Convention Center but not close enough to get caught in traffic. The rooms were clean and efficient and the staff was very friendly. Check in and Check out was super easy and there was no hassle. I will definitely return when I need to stay the night.”
