“We had a traumatic situation in which we were displaced due to a house fire (that was not our fault). We chose this hotel because it has a kitchenette. We didn't realize it literally has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. The night manager Luke is always clean cut, collected and kind. His humor has brought us many great laughs which are desperately needed at this time. He's always accommodating us although respectful but not overly friendly. The perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness. Barbara the day manager/receptionist is so quick to work with us on little things. The house keepers are friendly and do such a wonderful job. I don't hear drama, just hard working individuals. Every time I pass a room being cleaned they are just working away. We have stayed in some 3-4 star hotels that were completely dirty and gross... And couldn't be happier with our choosing of this one. Although we know this is a temporary stay, I kind of wish we could rent an apartment here. The folks have made our difficult time much more manageable even without knowing our situation. I hope people treat these kind individuals with great respect... And please as guests, clean up after yourself. They ain't yo momma!”

“Now, I'd give this place 4.5 stars if I could. The reason for only 4 stars on service is due to the amount of guests allowed in the 2 bdrm suite is different at the hotel vs online. When booking online, 8 guests are allowed. When I arrived to check-in I was sternly told that only 5 guests are allowed and IF they find out that I'm lying, the card on file will be charged an additional $250! I am an Alaskan resident, and as such, I did what many others have and will continue to do so. I booked a room so that my kids could enjoy an evening swimming at a pool for their birthday. I understand why it's frowned upon when a resident books a room, but I know that we did not look the part of a rowdy crowd for that type of stern warning. Other than that, the place was great. My kids loved the pool and the rooms. They were decent sizes, clean and with adequate extra linens.”

“Perfect spot for a hotel. Easy in and out to maximize time spent in the CITY. The price is right with a friendly staff and working crew. Rented the double queen option which proves comfortable and quiet. Keep up the great hospitality for up and coming customers. Thank you, A satisfied customer.”

La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Anchorage Airport

“Clean but only one of many outlets worked. The rest were too worn out to hold any plugs to not fall out by themselves. I thought I was the only one experiencing double charge problems. I saw a series of people getting angry and/or even walking out on their prepaid reservations because of the same problem while I was going through my emails on a sofa to find the solution.”

Dimond Center Hotel

Closed until 03:00 PM

700 E Dimond Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99515, United States

“Service and professionalism are amazing here. The room was very clean and big with high ceilings, a deep luxurious tub, mini fridge, microwave and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect for me. The price is honestly a steal and a half if you book through Expedia or Priceline. Great hotel! My only bad takeaway here is that I was to comfortable in bed to get up and try some breakfast, but that's on me.”

“With the kitchenette you had better bring all of your own cooking equipment. They do not supply any pots/pans or eating utensils. You can purchase things from their store next to registration. The place smells like pot, I could smell it everywhere, they smoke right outside the front door. I would not recommend this for a family, this hotel is more for travelling construction workers.”

“This has been a long haul stay for me. 3 weeks to be precise. Let me start with my room... The heater... It will kick on, it is loud, it heats up quickly... But immediately after the heater shuts off, the air conditioning or as the maintenance man told me "cool down cycle" where it sucks freezing cold air from outside kicks on blasting freezing cold air on you. It is horrible. I have never stayed at a hotel that this was an issue before. It really is miserable to say the least getting warm and then having freezing cold air blasted in your face. Every, single, time. My shower curtain is pink at the bottom from mildew. My bed dips on both sides and can not sleep comfortably in the middle do to this. Other then those issues I am happy with the layout of my room. One of my TV remotes doesn't work but it's no biggie as I have a TV in the living room and don't personally just lay in bed watching TV in the bedroom. I will move on to the pool and hot tub or the lack there of it. My entire stay here the hot tub and pool have been out of commission. When I first checked in I asked when it should be up and running and was told we hope to have it up by tomorrow. Well 3 weeks later it is still not usable. I was told they could drive me over to their sister location to use their pool and hot tub. Although this is nice they are trying to accommodate people, I personally don't feel like getting out of a hot tub to walk outside in the freezing cold to go back to my hotel. I will move on to the lobby. When I first arrived the lobby/first floor was so cold. Cold air was blowing out of the vents. Extremely cold air. It took a week or so of complaining to get one of the front dest galls to give me the appropriate emails to contact the people that could and would actually take my and my coworkers complaints seriously. This front desk associate told me she and her co workers were so cold all day in the lobby and nothing was being done about the heating issue and perhaps my email could help. What do you know... A couple of days later there was heat again. Eating breakfast in a freezing cold lobby was not enjoyable. By the time I got seated my food was completely cold. The breakfast here is sub par. Do not expect anything fancy. The fried eggs are small dry, crunchy, overcooked discs. The owners should take a gander at the hotel next door's breakfast (Home2 suites) and take notes. We should have stayed over there instead of moving to this hotel but we greatly needed the shuttle to the airport and back every day which Home2 sadly did not offer. I do not recommend washing your clothes in the washers here. They do not rinse all of the soap from my clothes. They come out of the dryer with dry hard spots of soap in some places. Two of the three washers are broken right now. One of the times I dried my clothes they didn't even dry and I had to hang dry them. All in all I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for a warm inviting feeling or if you are interested in a good breakfast or a hot tub/pool experience.”
