“The location here is fantastic. Home 2 Suites brand is a favorite of mine as a Hilton traveler. The first time I tried to stay at this hotel (summer 2023) the pool was closed, it wasn't ideal as I wasn't notified prior to my arrival, but they did allow for me to cancel with no penalty and I ended up at the Homewood Suites down the road (and also a Hilton brand). This past stay in December was with mixed feelings. The room I selected wasn't ready by 2pm (granted check in 3pm), so I called and they were able to move my room. It was quick and painless and executed very well. The gentlemen at the front was great. When we got to our room, I was pretty grossed out as how dirty any high touch surface area was. Fridge, dishwasher, bathroom door (so gross), main door, cabinets, etc. I left to run to the Ace hardware near by for some all purpose cleaner. I wiped down all the surfaces and they were indeed as dirty as I thought. When I wiped down the bathroom I found no toilet paper holder, no extra toilet paper and shaved hair all over the back and side wall of the shower. There was no way that shower was cleaned between guests. SUPER gross. I cleaned it up and I digress. The breakfast was as expected and the attendant was very kind. The common spaces in general were not well kept. Walls needing painting, furniture with stains, railings needing cleaned, etc. It was not what I expect from Hilton or Home 2 Suites Brand. We may give it one more try, in the hopes it is managed better in the future, or we may just choose to stay at the Homewood Suites down the way, which is even closer to campus and kept much cleaner. If you are not a stickler on clean spaces, this place is fine. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious.”

“Very nice facility. Great room. Excellent dining area. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast!!! One of the best workout rooms I have ever used at a hotel. Absolutely would recommend staying here when in the Champaign area.”

“Pleasantly surprised after checking in. Coffee and cookies in lobby and a dinner was being served for guests. The rooms were spacious with a refrigerator and single serve coffee. Modern bathrooms with all amenities except lotion. Kleenex box had 2 tissues in it, so ran out. All was very clean except top of the headboard was dusty. Nothing major. Definitely will stay here again. Great value and friendly staff.”
