There is also a brasserie with a reasonable price for a good meal. The staff is friendly. Zoutelande is just a few minutes away by bike and There’s ONLY one parking place for each cottage. Well, in all it’s a good experience. You have everything you need to experience a nice stay. What else?”

“Traditional delights - we were on a tour of the coastline of Belgium and the Netherlands and stopped off in Veere for a bit of sightseeing. After a lovely walk around in the glorious sunshine we thought we’d stop off at Hotel Veere for a quick coffee before setting off to our next destination but it wasn’t long until we were lured in by the menu (which was a real treat to find it written in the local language only) and ordered a spot of lunch. I ordered the meat croquettes, which were delightful. Always wanted to try some local croquettes after hearing a lot about them from friends who are often in The Netherlands. My partner had the asparagus soup and a friend had the burger. All were very pleased with our choices, particularly the soup which was a delight. Fresh light and bursting with flavour. Friendly staff, very clean toilets, and a beautiful outdoor setting all made for a very pleasing lunch stop. Thanks”

“A nice small, very clean hotel with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, roomy shower and although our room was by the lift, we did not notice it. Perfectly located by the Sea and in walking distance to restaurants if you did not want to eat every night at the Hotel. The only small downside was parking. You need to find a space yourself.”

“Average typical Zeeland hotel with a few flaws: - Showers don’t have constant temperature and fluctuate a bit - No cozy chairs in the room. So when it’s rainy and you have a dog, you are forced to spend the day in bed as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant - curtains were hanging loose, balcony door does not shut well - service staff is not the nicest. They are not rude but also not very welcoming - at breakfast, it gets overcrowded quickly Given that a night here cost us >>200€, I would not come back”

“We stayed one night in Hotel Wilhelmina as we toured Holland. Steps from the beach with limited and very tight parking accommodations. Check in was at the next door Hotel (walk up towards the beach) and front desk staff was very nice. Room was big for family of 4 or 5 as beds are large. One air conditioning unit for the entire place. Just a min or two walk from the beach. Would stay again!”
