“We had the pleasure of staying here for one night for my husband's birthday and had the best time. Everything you could possibly need was catered for and more! Our 18-month-old had a blast exploring and playing and we felt very relaxed. Great food, wonderful facilities, beautiful location and super thoughtful little touches. I loved the fact that we could eat meals at the hotel and use all the facilities before our room was ready from 8am on check in day and until 5pm after we checked out, so we effectively got two days for the price of one night. Would highly recommend.”

From feeding us delicious meals to the little gifts in our rooms. We appreciated the gesture. If you are looking for a relaxing ski trip, it’s one that comes with a great view of the mountains. The scenic panoramic view of the mountain was beautiful and one we could enjoy from the restaurant, pool and spa! Our rooms were well cleaned everyday and we were able to have a good night’s rest!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The entire meal is excellent, from a rich breakfast to the 4-course menu in the evening, you could never complain. The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished, the highlight is of course the balcony with a view of Lake Haldensee. The staff was always friendly and attentive. The only criticism I think is that the water in the pool is too cold. There is a very warm whirlpool, but if you want to swim a few lengths, you have to freeze a bit first. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here.”

There’s no air conditioning so you must leave your balcony door open; however they permit smoking on the balconies and peoples’ smoke entered my room - quite disgusting. The beds are hard, the pillows are limp and lumpy. Not very pleasant sleeps. No iron nor ironing boards. Nice but small saunas. The food was good but over the week I noticed many leftovers being served in different fashions.”

“First time in the alps in the summer and such kind of all inclusive family hotel. We loved the concept with focus on kids’ needs. We had a clean and nicely designed maisonette room and paid roughly 500€ per night for 2 adults and one kid end of August. Service and friendliness of all people working there is very good. Also the owner family is involved and lovely. Location is great for enjoying nature and exploring the region. Quick access to the nature. Wonderful hiking and biking routes. Beautiful view from the balcony. In the city itself not so much to do in the evenings. Buffets with nice food at each dish. Sauna and pool area nice. Nice lobby with kind and funny barkeeper. Overall it was a nice holiday and we will probably considering going again in the same or similar type hotel once in a while. Small negative points for owner’s and visitors’ consideration: - Manual booking of each kids activity with various repeating info and emails flooding inbox is time consuming and annoying - Bigger outside pool or complete opening of the outside part would be nicer. Overall the outside / garden area is a bit small. The gym is not well equipped, the weights are far too few and light. Too few machines, too small room and no Air Condition. Disappointing when comparing with all other areas of the hotel. Parking too crowded and places too small for bigger cars. Air conditioning missing in our room which was top floor below roof. It was too hot. Also I couldn’t properly stand in the upper section due to the wood roof construction bouncing my head occasionally (185cm).”

On top of that, the owner was clearly intoxicated and incredibly impolite towards multiple guests during our dinner to the point some people left mid-dinner or even refused to pay. If you want good food, look for some of the amazing authentic alternatives towards the village center instead of this tourist trap.”
