“We stayed here four nights. Front desk staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. The cleaning staff is very aware of guests — hold elevator doors for guests, always greeting guests, rooms and common areas all very clean. Kitchen staff takes get pride in their very healthy breakfast that includes everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Food is always ready, food-serving area is clean and well stocked, tables are clean. There is ample on-site parking. The location worked well for us — very near shopping and restaurants by car. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Gainesville!”

“As an Elite Platinum member, I have certain expectations of service that, unfortunately, were not met during my recent stay. Firstly, the lack of daily housekeeping was a significant inconvenience. Although I understand some hotels have modified services, the communication and execution here were poor. The complimentary breakfast offered was mediocre at best, lacking both in quality and variety. This was disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the hotel. Additionally, our experience with room service was extremely frustrating. We had two reservations and were explicitly promised housekeeping services on the third night. Despite requesting a sheet change and trash removal early in the morning, we were repeatedly told of delays at 2 PM and again at 3 PM, with assurances that our room would be attended to. However, by 4 PM, we were informed that the housekeeping staff had already left for the day. This lack of service is unacceptable. Our request for a new room due to these issues was flatly refused. Moreover, observing a member of the housekeeping staff leisurely using her phone in the afternoon, while our requests were being neglected, was particularly galling. This incident speaks volumes about the inefficiency and incompetence of the staff. For a hotel that prides itself on service, this experience was deeply disappointing. As a loyal and frequent guest, I expected much better and hope this feedback leads to significant improvements. As a Hilton Gold member, I’ll go with the adjacent site next time for sure.”

“My family and I stayed here on our way to and from the Keys for a memorial and we were traveling with 3 adults and 2 teens. The room we were in was extremely spacious with 2 queen beds and a queen pull out sofa. Making it perfect for our needs. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The continental breakfast was filling and met our needs. Because my sister was a Hilton Rewards member we were able to check in and check out electronically which was very convenient due to us arriving after 1 in the morning on the way down.”

“This is a nicely decorated, new hotel, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The pet friendliness is also a plus. It’s a shame that the walls are so thin and the sound barrier in between the floors is basically non existent. You hear every footstep of your upstairs neighbor, and on the 5th floor, the equipment and machinery is incredibly loud humming/vibration. I blame new construction, not the staff. If you’re not sensitive to noise, I’d recommend this hotel.”

“This is the third Hilton property I’ve stayed in Gainesville. At this property I was given one choice prior to checking in. As a diamond member, I had requested a higher floor, one king bed studio. The only choice I received was a handicapped king bedroom on the first floor. I’ve found this to be common in many hilton properties where they can’t keep up with the booking technology and fall short on the promises. The parking, lobby and adjoining dining areas were fine. We had been driving over 8 hours , were pretty tired, so we just headed for the room. The only hotel attendant at check in was busy with other guests to pursue changing rooms. The dark room seemed like a mess of renovations, cracked tiles in front of the bathroom sink, very dated kitchen. Overall, it wasn’t very inviting or felt very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. As a homewood suites breakfast this one was pretty good with more choices than others. The evening reception also was nice, though there was no adult beverages at the time. In comparison with the other Hilton properties nearby that I’ve stayed at I would stay at Hilton Garden Inn, except that they don’t offer a complimentary breakfast. The nearby Hampton Inn is the worst. I would only stay here again if they update the rooms and can get their reservation system corrected.”

“This park is in the midst of an refurbishment, about half of the sites have been updated to concrete drives. There are quite a few long term residents most are keeping their sites very well kept, some that are not. There is a new restroom, shower and laundry that is very clean. The pool here is new and very nice. While the pool is open it has been to cold for me to use it. Kellie who is the host/manger here is one of the most friendly and helpful people I have run across in our 2-1/2 year travels. We camped at High Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.”
