“The Antica Osteria Italia is located in a context I would say "medieval" but as soon as you enter the room, the perception is of an impersonal place, a single large room with a kitchen on one side and a bar on the other. Perhaps the concept fits better with its nature as a Hotel. The beautiful external walls entering the internal parking is complicated and to be avoided for those who do not like risky maneuvers. Small, it can accommodate up to 6 cars. It is preferable to find a place outside. The restaurant is well kept and the staff polite and fast , less prepared on the courses, but it goes without saying that the staff is often employed by the hour and perhaps lacks specific qualifications. the pizza I must say, a calzone, of dimensions below the standards seen in other places, but the preparation, the dough and the cooking TOP!.... Even the second courses of presce (Fried), left me pleasantly impressed and vegetables accompaniment well served. The sweets look good even if I haven't tried them. Overall we had a good time and what counts was the education and love placed by the cook in the preparation of the dishes and by the pizza maker. Location in the norm, not elegant or romantic, but it lends itself to a friendly dinner. Average prices, the six of us received a bill of around € 160, considering that we didn't take the first courses. Oh, a little note, the pork cutlet .. I must say Good advice. The restaurant is located in Certosa di Pavia at the crossroads of the S. dei Giovi road with the road that leads to the Certosa, about 4km from Pavia in the hospital area, 7km from Binasco and 30 km from Milan and can be reached by taking the SS dei Giovi.”

“A very nice and peaceful place to rest, friendly and helpful staff, family atmosphere, clean spacious rooms, large balcony, there is also an elevator. The food is excellent, I'm sorry that we had to leave already after lunch, so unfortunately we didn't try the pizza from the hotel pizzeria , which previous guests praise. The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet area, within the hotel there is a private parking lot. The most important thing, we arrived at 4:30 in the morning, without a reservation, people opened the door for us, received us, accommodated us, unlocked the parking lot, woke us up as agreed, to go down to lunch... In other hotels where we tried to stay, they refused us, because check-in is between 12:00 and 15-15:30... Wonderful people, wonderful experience, I hope there will be an opportunity to be their guests again.”
