“Lovely clean Hotel with friendly Staff. We stayed 3 nights and used the Spa facilities. The Jacuzzi and Sauna are particularly nice. Food-wise the prices are average, but the food we had was better than the 3 Stars would suggest. Skiing lift is a short drive away and you can even walk it if you wish. It's also very close to a local shop Zapka and Petrol Station.”

“We staid there over new years and had booked a package deal for two adults. The hotel is situated in a beautiful countryside and consists out of an old bit well refurbished house plus a wing with new and modern apartment like rooms. Our room was in the old part of the hotel. Pro: very cool scenery and good amenities such as a indoor pool, gym, sauna etc. Very aesthetic mix between modern renovated parts as well as historical elements of the building. Food was good. Package deal offered participating in buffets and one 5 course meal. Con: Cleanliness of some areas was sub-standard for a 5 star hotel. Sauna area, in particular showers were dirty. Pool area and changing rooms were also lacking of service (cleanliness of floors and furniture, also used towels). Maintenance: The hotel had been renovated at great expenses but maintenance is sub standard for a 5 star hotel. Ceiling shower in pool area not working. Dining room, floor windows broken and scratched. Some chairs also scratched with paint coming off. Spa area, radiators full of crumbling rust. Door sealing not functional to outside area. Service: Generally speaking the service was OK but for a 5 star hotel a bit sub standard. One would expect guests to more looked after by e.g. a more open communication. Ask if things are OK, or if anything is needed would be expected. A big no no is the free water. Please consider options for water such as sparkling water and replace old water in good time (the taste of water with lemons bathing in there for hours is a disgrace). Staff speaks not good English and only little German. Please focus on training team members on customer experience more and work on maintenance and cleanliness then a 5 star rating should be doable!”

“Very nice four star hotel with mostly great value. Wonderful service,l and great staff in all departments (not obvious in Czech Republic) . Would give it four and half star review if was possible. Would not atay here in summer - no AC, and even in fall weather room got a little stuffy on sunny days. Great facilities, though some are really overpriced (like tennis), and others just an ok value (like massages). But others are free (heated pool, gym, whirlpool tubs), and facilities are open late until 2130, and a la carte restaurant until 2300, which is great! A la carte restaurant has great menu, and many of the dishes (though not all) are very very well prepared, and prices are great considering quality and level of hotel (and alcohol prices are great by any measure). Main dining room is just ok, and particularly annoying was that clean up starts before closing time, which is really unpleasent if you like to eat late breakfast/ dinner. Alao annoying was that even basic drinks are not included in price of dining room dinner. Tap water in the room was great and we used that rather than paying for same water in restaurants. Rooms are spacious, and clean, and are serviced daily, including new bathrobes and slippers daily if you want. The one we were in was a little outdated, but nothing really wrong. Bathtub was really deep which made it hard to use for both elderly and young family memebers. It is worth contacting hotel directly if youre a family because they have some creative family rooms (like separate bedroom plus main room with 3-4 singles and a large hallway with seperate bath and toilet). We stayed in the fall off-season, so cannot say anything about it as skeeing hotel.”

“We had the opportunity to stay here with my girlfriend for a few days and were dissatisfied with the service. From the very beginning, the reservation was made for one person, but then I changed the reservation for 2 people over the phone (the difference in price was promised to be very minimal). However, upon arrival, it turned out that the price was twice as much as expected. When I tried to clarify this situation with the hotel manager (her name is Anna), she did not speak English or pretended not to. “The room interior is not something that is on their photos: no carpet, tasteless interior ginger furniture, curtains are dirty and not blackout. Staff are very very very friendly and polite, except the lady on the reception with 90s makeup. The territory is gorgeous: geeeeeen, with lots of flowers, citrus trees. The bed mattress is comfortable and big (180 cm width), clean and fresh linens. Would be great if the hotel be eco: please get rid from one-time plastic bottles and soap bars - integrate refill dispensers for liquid products. The breakfast: minimum amount of coocked dishes, but quite good coffee.”

“A well-thought-out hotel, spacious rooms, a ski room and everything literally next to the slope. The staff is very friendly and polite, despite frequent problems with forgotten cards 😉. It was also no problem to arrive earlier or leave the car and use the ski room until late hours after check-out, not to mention help with starting the car! Awesome, I didn't expect it. we will definitely come back.”

“I was not impressed. Our room was big and refurbished. However everything else in the hotel (including our hotel room bathroom) was very oldschool. That applies also to the staff and service. No interest, no smile. Breakfast was sufficient but we saw much better around. Only positive is their pool, but its surrounding/design is not very welcoming either.”

“Excellent hotel. Amazingly friendly receptionist 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The breakfasts were amazing, the only one but was that the dishes weren't labelled and we couldn't figure out everything. SPA area was a nice addition to to our stay. I can't give it 5 starts as the SPA opening hours could be more guest friendly. Operating hours are 9am till 9pm, which is not ideal when you go out to do sightseeing and climb up the tops, and come back at 8pm. My suggestion is to extend the SPA opening hours to 11pm. That would be ideal. The hotel is very close to the city centre, approx 13 minute walk witb kids. Will consider coming back there in the future. And on top of everything they offer a free car park at the back of the hotel 👍”

“It's a perfect place for end your cycling route - when you're going back from the Czech Republic and here you can stay for a coffee or some food and appreciate that moment that you will go almost only downhill to home :-) also during the winter it's a great place to eat something after xc skiing in Jakuszyce and now, during the pandemic, they are doing awesome job with music, some food to take-away and drinks. And the best organized parking space as well :-)”

“We celebrated the New Year here (House N7). The place is really perfect. The wooden house was not very big, but had enough space for us (7 people) to relax alone without disturbing each other, or to make activities together. The house is very warm and has adjustable heating system. Perfect that the house has 2 toilets. The shower is clean and works good. The kitchen has a lot of dishes, big fridge and freezer, modern stove top, microwave oven, big sink, and what is the most important - dishwasher! I was missing the baking oven sometimes, but actually it is not that much needed. The house has a big terrace with a table and benches, I could guess how perfect would be to sit there in summer. Also the house has a grill oven (outside, next to the terrace), where you have to burn wood and coal and then grill meat/ fish/ vegetables on the grill grate. We liked it very mich (the only problem was that it was difficult to find coal in the shops). Even thought you have a feeling that you live far away from the city, you can reach the town (Szklarska Poręba) easily on foot. The town is small, but there you can find supermarkets, shops, cafes ets. And you can see the beautiful mountain scenery. Close is located the place where you can go skiing and sledding (we haven't done it, but I guess it could be a lot of fun). The hosts are very friendly and ready to help if you need something (i.e. an iron). I would recommend this place to everybody!”
