Every interaction, from housekeeping to the concierge, was marked by genuine friendliness and a willingness to go the extra mile. Beyond the exceptional service, the hotel itself offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. They have a spa and we also enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. The location was convenient, within walking distance of several landmarks. We had a two-night stay here but my family and I wished we could have stayed longer! “I absolutely loved my stay at the Royan Hagia Sophia Istanbul. The room was modern and clean; I loved the decor throughout the hotel (chic imperial). The lounge area was very peaceful if you wanted to take a break, get some work done or even have your morning coffee. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and went out of their way to give us advice, recommendations and help us get around. The location was superb - right by all the main attractions and very walkable. There are amazing restaurants close by with tons of options. We booked the standard room - I will say, it was a bit tight with our two large suitcases and 1 carry on, but we managed the space by stacking the suitcases in 1 corner. Travel light or upgrade to the slightly bigger room if you happen to be staying for a longer time; however, the price point, location and accommodations are well worth the visit.”

“This hotel is a gem! Bang in the middle of the old district and overlooking Gulhane Park. The tram stop is right at the end of the street. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the cleaner left Turkish Delight each day for us. The staff are charming and welcoming, and catered for my gluten free needs each morning at breakfast. We made use of the Hamman, sauna and swimming pool in the basement, which was great. When we left all of the staff came out onto the street to wave us off, which was such a lovely touch. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough, so five stars all round.”

“After an early morning flight we got to the hotel at around 8am in the morning and the front desk went above and beyond to get us an early check in. Which was great as we fell asleep as soon as we got into our room. Every member of the front desk, day or night were outstanding, professional and friendly. The room was a decent size with comfortable beds and pillows however two minor things. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and we wished we could have lowered the aircon to less than 18 degrees. The breakfast was hot and filling with a good selection of continental food. However I feel the hot food could be more varied though they did make us eggs the way we wanted them. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and amazing at their jobs. Gunes, Azimi, Utku and Nazl were the highlights. Gunes and Nazl especially were super friendly and helpful and helped us with shopping ideas. Let’s not forget the amazing geniuses in the kitchen who prepared all the food every morning. Gunes I hope you realise your dream one day of managing a hotel!! The boys also loved the swimming pool and my wife rated the spa service highly.
