“This place has a lot of special and sentimental value to my family, as we have been going for more than 20 years. Staying at the Grand Hotel can be a fun thing to do once, but we come back to Harbour View because the staff are fantastic, it's never overpriced, and we always find the accommodations to be great. You are so close to town, but on the edge just enough to feel out of the craziness in the summer. We have also really enjoyed renting our bikes directly through Harbour View! They have really competitive rates and it makes life a lot easier. I have gone here on a couples trip and also with my family and I have always been happy with Harbour View.”

“We stayed at Lake View Hotel from Sunday to Wednesday morning. It had a nice location. There was bike parking by the hotel. The staff was wonderful! It had nice porches to sit and relax on. Great hotel to people watch from. The room was nice. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The indoor pool was nice but cold. The Turtle played loud music below our room during the day into the evening. That was not that relaxing after being out and doing activities on and off throughout the day.”

“What a great stay. I was discouraged by the most recent reviews and almost didn't book! I'm glad we decided to go with this hotel. The service was top notch with a nice hot cocoa, tea and coffee bar. Fresh popcorn was popped for us and warm cookies were provided upon check in. We requested a late check out and it wasnt a problem at all! The pool was warm and the hot tub was super hot. The working sauna was a nice bonus as many places don't have one or if they do its usually broken. Beds were super comfy and the room was spotless. The location was nice too, quiet and accessible for large trailers and RVs. I would definitely stay here again.”

“It was my 1 Year Anniversary with my husband, and when we checked in they were nice enough to upgrade us to one of their updated rooms. We were thoroughly enjoying our trip for the first 3 nights. Good breakfast to get us through the day! The hotel itself was an enjoyable stay. Until the last night, when i was awoken by the sound of mice going through our food. Both my husband and i saw them scurry into the vents that went around the whole room, and even the next morning in the hallway by the breakfast. When we brought this to managements attention, they apologized but quickly dismissed it as it being “just that time of year”, for rodents to be in and around my food when i paid for a stay?! Just saying, if i wanted wildlife that close i would go camping. It truly was an enjoyable lodge, but I will not be coming back here due to the pests. I hope this is an issue that will be addressed before more paying guests have run ins with the rodents.”

“We had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds on Labor Day. The rooms were fine. Theirs carpet has all kind of stains. TV was fine. They had a breakfast as well. Pancakes, bread, juice, milk, muffins, cereals, apples and coffee. It’s was fine overall. They was no free water in rooms not even few bottles. Was fine overall.”
