“Family trip 3 nights before a cruise. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel but let's get the cons out of the way.... Cons - a few hairs in the shower and bathroom floor left from the last guests - breakfast gets boring fast, the sandwiches were tasty but the bread was always hard from sitting in the warmer; changing out the cereal flavors would have been nice - area felt a little sketchy but we walked all around the neighborhood and never had issues so probably wouldn't even consider it a con. My kids did go up to the 10th floor stairwell and a man was up there saying he was changing clothes Pros - cleaning employees did excellent daily cleanings, whenever we came back from being out all day our room was all tidied up even though sign in room said every other day cleanings - all of the front desk staff were extra nice and helpful - breakfast staff worked very hard, they never let anything run out and they kept it clean; the kids like that the waffles came in two different shapes - room was large, plenty of room for 4 people; beds were comfy, a/c worked well, kitchen was great and had everything you needed - 2 mins from Dutch Kills subway station so easy rode into the city even for us newbies”

“Perfectly located next to Queens Plaza Subway station with stress free travel from JFK or LGA and also towards Manhattan. The hotel Manager and the crew is top friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy with fridge & coffeemaker and enough closet space for a longer stay. Hotel has a pretty good gym, guest laundry, breakfast/bar and pantry shop. Two doors down in same building is Hudson Food Market where one gets warm food, drinks, snacks and other supplies. My choice for next NYC visits 👍🏻”

“Great Hyatt option for families visiting NYC. It's a four minute walk to a subway that takes less than ten minutes to get you to 30 Rock. Room was clean and nice and four people shared it comfortably. Breakfast can get crowded, but there are better bagels at breakfast than any Hyatt Place I have ever stayed at. Staff all nice too.”

It's about 10 minutes from the subway. It has a very beautiful view of the Queens Bridge during the day. but at night with the lights from the buildings it looks incredible. what enchanted me most about my stay.”

“Stayed in both the family suite (has two queen beds and a futon) and family studio (2 queen beds), rooms are spacious with a stove, refrigerator and microwave. We were traveling with 3 adults and 2 kids under 5. Breakfast had different options but it does get pretty crowded. There is street parking right outside and a parking lot across the street on College point blvd. ($24 for the day or $5 for 3 hours). Located in a good spot, a lot of bakeries and restaurants within walking distance and there's a shopping center behind the hotel.”

“Titanium member here and I'll admit - I was skeptical with all these awesome reviews. Happy to confirm that they are most definitely true! Wonder how a simple airport hotel can inspire such positive reviews from everyone? Well for starters, the design is refreshingly modern. Beds are comfortable, showers are great, the lobby is very well lit, and there plenty of areas to catch up with friends downstairs. The staff though are what really resonate with guests. It was downpouring when my parents and I arrived. Mark Torres - the guest relations supervisor - quickly sprang into action! He took their bags, gave us a hearty welcome, offered to store them so we wouldn't lug our suitcases upstairs for the night, and provided us with several menus from the area's top ranked restaurants. He let us know that muffins were available if we left before breakfast started and also showed us the well-stocked pantry behind reception. Mark's enthusiasm is contagious and you can tell that he truly cares about each guest at a human level. This simple airport hotel treated me better than many of the elaborate resorts I've stayed it recently. Two big thumbs up! Don't think twice, book your stay today!”

“The hotel is quite small. First impression was that it wasn’t going to be good however we were wrong and the service offered here was great. Staff all friendly and knowledgeable with great customer service. All were very helpful. Kevin picked us up to and from the airport and offered us a lot of great advice that we used to get around the city. It is a shame I didn’t get any more names because everyone we encountered was this friendly and helpful which is why I’m giving them an overall rating of 5 stars. Hotel is a 40-50 minute ride on the Subways to Manhattan/Times Square. However even so, the rides feel fast because the max you wait for a bus is 15 minutes and the Subways were already mostly parked when me and my party would get to the platforms. You don’t feel the 50 minutes. Right outside the hotel, near the corner across the street is the first bus stop for the first bus you need to start your journey into Manhattan. Room was cozy, breakfast was free. Breakfast area is small however they served a good breakfast. Eggs, toast, bagels, even had a waffle maker.”

“The black haired front desk receptionist had a disgusting 🤮 attitude as soon as I walked in. I went in polite and respectful asking for a room and her responses were so monotone and disinterested. STAY AWAY from this place! The room was equally as bad. I only went because I needed a spot to work nearby and it was cheap that was the only good thing. The room is HORRIBLE! Small and cramped. Paper towel to cover the peep hole. The whole room smelled like mold/mildew. Stains on the walls. A/C blows hot air. I left early because it was that horrid. If you let them know their wifi is bad they accuse you of it not working. I asked to switched rooms and the rude front desk lady rushed me to switch to another one. Very poor customer service skills as well as severely lacking any accommodation and accountability. Yes I realize it’s just a motel but you should get respect ANYWHERE and everywhere. Especially when you’ve done nothing wrong I will never go there again and I suggest you find another motel with some standards.”
