Great service, the staff at this hotel are so helpful and friendly, always smiling and happy to help. Very professional on all levels. Fantastic service at the bar and restaurant. We were so sad to leave, will definitely book again. So close to old town but quiet and peaceful location. The atmosphere in this hotel is amazing, very relaxing. I can honestly say the best hotel in the area.”

“Stayed for a week here in April. What a fabulous find! The apartment exceeded our expectations, was very comfortable and had a fabulous sea view. It’s far enough away from the strip for it not be an issue and just a 2 minute walk down the hill to the beach. Yes, the pool may be a little small but never felt overcrowded and there’s plenty of loungers and more on the additional sun deck. The staff are fantastic and the place is absolutely spotless! Top marks to housekeeping! Plenty of bars and restaurants around the area and just a short taxi ride to the old town which is full of character. Definitely recommend staying here for self catering holidays. We will definitely return.”

Beds very comfortable. Location is excellent - walk out the front door and you get amazing view over the Fisherman's beach (the old Town beach). Utterly faultless trip IMO, and will definitely be back as soon as I can. It was my first time in Portugal - it couldn't have been better and the hotel was part of the reason.”

“Amazing hotel apartments. We stayed for a week at the end of September and couldn’t fault it. When we checked in the staff were super friendly and explained everything to us. Bar staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was cleaned everyday. In a great location close to local bars, shops and restaurants and the pool area was brilliant. Will definitely be back!”

And here you get a lot for what you pay OK, the breakfasts aren't the best..see above.toaster etc But they're easy fixes. I only saw four members of staff and all totally committed to service. “Great small hotel, close to the beach and the lively square. There's a great rooftop terrace area with bar and hot tub and sun loungers. The downside of this hotel is some rooms can be over the restaurant area which can be noisy with the live music, but worse than that is the very loud music about 100m up the road which can go on until 3 in the morning, so getting sleep is not easy.”

“We got home today after a week in this hotel and I have to say we were beyond impressed. Fantastic hotel for families, 3 pools (indoor/outdoor) including one with slides and pool side bar. Staff were absolutely lovely and as the Portuguese normally are, fantastic with kids. Bar is ideal, great lunch and evening evening food, reasonable prices for the most part (although cocktails and vodkas were a little pricey). Rooms are spotless and well above 'fully equipped' (there's pots, pans toasters, mini ovens and simple utensils you would generally never find in other establishmens, but need). Pool was kept so clean with staff coming to empty bins on grounds regularly. We ordered a birthday cake and balloons late in the evening when we arrived for my son's birthday the next morning and the cake was absolutely delicious and we were so happy they could accommodate us and really appreciated this gesture. There's plenty to keep the kids entertained all day, water football in the pool, zorbing, aeriel walking, beach nearby and local villages a short walk (20mins) and albuferia 10min taxi (about €10). Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, it's possibly the best I've been to for families ever. We are booking already for next year. Thank you guys”

“Get room 401! Large but sparsely furnished but you are not there to sit inside. The view line is amazing. You can see out of three sides and you get two patios one with two lounge chairs. No need to hang with the throng except to go for a dip in their beautiful pool. The only negative is the lack of wifi. Don't buy the time card they sell at the desk as they do not function well. Cheaper to buy a Sim card at the airport. But other than that we would love to go back.”

“First impressions of this hotel weren’t great. When we first arrived the receptionist was on the phone and continued to take our details whilst on the phone. Our room wasn’t ready which was ok - we were told we could use the pool facilities but weren’t told how to get there or where it was. An explanation of the 2 lifts would have been helpful as this confused us the time we were there. We had to ask a cleaner we seen in the hallway for new towels as we were on day 4 of our holiday using the same towels as the cleaners had come once. The rooms are great but just make sure you’re comfortable who you’re going with as there was no door in the shower. The bed was unreal I wish I could have taken it home and the breakfast was lovely. We were expecting noise as we knew it was right the in the centre but it was very noisy at night with there being live music across the way at Sherry’s bar. Overall I really enjoyed this hotel I would definitely stay again just first impressions weren’t great :)”

“Very nice place to stay! 5 min from the strip, aprox. 15 min from the old town, about 10 min from beach. Friendly staff, cleaning every day. Kitchen has all stuff that u need, if you cook and clean here. Few restaurants and a shop on the terotory. Parking. Pool!! We had a wonderfull time here!”

“Just back from a week stay at the hotel. This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spotless and are cleaned every single day. Not just tidied, but scrubbed. Linen changed twice in the week, towels too. The double glazed doors blocked out any noise so we had no issues regarding that. We had room with terrace and 2 loungers, table and 2 chairs. The only downside is no fridge, which during high temperature be nice to have cold water. The location is incredible, right on Bar Street so we never needed taxis. Hotel was very quiet. No shouting or banging doors. The staff at the hotel where so so lovely and very helpful. If you heading to Alburfeira for some enjoyable nights out, this is highly recommended. Will be back”
