“Tomorrow we leave for Switzerland. My philosophy is to always visit a new place and don’t go to a place twice but this 5-star Hotel really impressed at every level and we will return. Hotel Winkler in Südtirol. The Dinner which is included, matches the 1 Michelin star restaurants we go to from time to time. Every detail of your journey is delivered with the highest level of excellence. They have excellent spa facilities, a wide range of experiences and activities organized where you wonder why did we not stay 2 weeks. Beautiful views into the Dolomites. For car fanatics you can rent any sport car you desire or participate in the annual luxury car driving event here in September Kudos to the management team in place no 5 star Hotel ever left this great of a impression ….and give the chef his well deserved Michelin Star ….the food experience made the high price worth every penny …. My only recommendation to management: 90% of people in the income group that comes to your Hotel are Non Smokers - make the place smoke free and ban the remaining people to a corner in 30 m distance to all facilities! Every 5 star Hotel outside of Europe does this since 10+ years - only Europe is lagging and we always wonder why ?”

“The place is incredible. It was our first trip to Alps but we decided t have it as a tradition. This hotel was the best place to celebrate New Year. They offered amazing dinner for reasonable price, organized amazing fireworks and even provided shuttle for those who wanted to join the disco in Ortisei. Tiziana and her family are the most welcoming people. The room quality and cleanliness was outstanding. Even every window was crispy clean and it is extremely important in the place like this where view is a big asset. Dinners and breakfast were very delicious. The amenities offered by the hotel were perfect: great size pools, saunas, nice cozy fireplace and many board games. The team working in this hotel is highly warm, welcoming and dedicated. My only suggestion for improvement would be to update the pillows and towels inventory.”

From breakfast to dinner, the food was not just delicious but also beautifully presented. The restaurant staff especially Rameez & Jens were attentive and ensured that every meal was a culinary adventure. 👍 Nice Aperos Organized by the Owners: The personal touch of the owners Manni & Stefan, who hosted aperitifs for guests, was a special highlight. It allowed for a sense of community and a chance to meet fellow travelers in a warm and convivial atmosphere 👍 Good Hiking Offer: For nature enthusiasts, the hotel's location offers access to some nice hiking trails, with fantastic guides Sandra and Walther. 👍 Nice Brewery: The on-site brewery was a unique touch. It was reassuring to know that the team at Gassenhof takes cleanliness seriously. 👍 Dog-Friendly: we had our furry companion with us on this trip, and we was delighted to find that the hotel is truly dog-friendly. They not only accommodated our pet but also had dedicated areas and services for our four-legged friends. ❗Improvement Suggestion: If there's one area for improvement, it would be to encourage a "digital detox" in the spa areas. While the spa is meant for relaxation, some guests were phoning loudly and taking pictures in the sauna, which disrupted the tranquil and private atmosphere. Implementing a policy to discourage this behavior would ensure an even more peaceful experience for all guests.”

“Perfection! As a family with two small kids (1 and 4) we are aware that to make a vacation and a hotel that caters both to small children and adults is pretty much impossible, but MASL was able to do it! Everything in the hotel is extremely thought out, the food, the decor, the children's pool and play area, the view, the animal area.. and the tennis court was probably the most beautiful setting we played in tennis in. The pools are amazing and beautiful. The saunas for adults were also very special and relaxing. We especially appreciated being made comfortable in the common areas and restaurant, despite our little ones which were sometimes noisy and messy. We spent 7 nights in the hotel and were sad to leave! We especially recommend this to families with children under the age of 10, though even couples would definitely enjoy the hotel”

“Nicely decorated restaurant in a very nice environment. The coffee was good. However the apfelstrudel was not cooked enough and the dough was still raw on the bottom. We called out the waitress on this but she did not seem to care and told us it was normal in this way, and it could have been the dough getting moist from the apples. However this was definitely not the case as the dough was still quite elastic and clearly raw!”

“Our stay at the Lüsnerhof was fabulous! The hotel is located approximately 1100m above sea level in a quiet and naturally beautiful area, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, relaxing and re-charging your batteries. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff who showed us to our room and provided us with information about the hotel, its surroundings, special offerings, breakfast and dinner times, tours etc. Our room was very clean, spacious and beautifully designed, with a balcony offering perfect views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was very good and offered a great variety of different foods, including vegetarian and vegan options. In the afternoon, there is a buffet offering cold dishes, coffee and cake. The 5-course dinner menu is what we enjoyed the most, allowing us to choose our food for each course, again with vegetarian and vegan options. The spa area of the hotel is huge and offers countless different saunas, whirlpools and a swimming pond with crystal clear water. We specifically liked how some of the saunas are located very close to nature (literally in the woods). PS: If you arrive via electric vehicle, there are wallboxes at the hotel providing guests with free charging.”

It was a very clean place, and I would definitely recommend. We came in during rain, without booking in advance and we were in the room within a couple of minutes. The motorbikes we came in on were left outside in the carpark, and could be seen out of the room window, which was nice.”
