“We stayed for 2 nights in what is now part of the Galician Alda Hotel Group. This beautiful Art Deco building is situated right in the centre of Zamora opposite the Central Market and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The rooms are comfortable and atractively decorated. I hardly ever wear a tie these days but was amused to find a complete tie rack in the bedroom cupboard (see photo!). The staff are charming and helpful. Breakfast in the basement is a rather peculiar affair which has been contracted out. Recommend one of the two cafés on the market square which make their own 'churros' and serve good coffee at half the price.”

“We have used the hotel on many occasions when we normally visit Toro for Fiesta weekends. The place is amazing, history surrounds you but with all the modern comforts you need too. The staff are simply the best and look after us very well. Breakfast on nice days is in the medieval courtyard, we love this. If you want to visit and experience the real Spain and its ever so friendly hospitality then this should be on your list of places to go.”

“Hotel needs a sat nav to find but well worth the effort if you want something with old world charm and modern comfort. Nice little village with a few restaurants with speciality bbq meats Near Zamora a lovely really old city with very old churches and an even older castle.”
