Even though the hotel was right on the street the rooms were so quiet at night. If we go to Florence again we will absolutely stay here.”

The self-serve coffee and complimentary refreshment area was a welcome delight, including the ability to fill your water bottle with either still or sparkling water. Enjoyed the evening happy hour with the other guests. Nice opportunity to meet others. Lovely breakfast room with a wonderful included breakfast. Highly recommend. “Amazing hotel! All of our rooms ("Rosa" and "Orchidea") were massive, had a kitchen with dining area (with kitchen supplies; cutlery, plates, glasses, oven etc.) and a big bedroom! Rustic Italian feelings. Cooking courses and wine tasting classes were offered by Chef Anna. We opted for the Pizza and Pasta course (gnocchi, pizza, focaccia, pesto, tomato sauce and cantuccini made from scratch). Amazing!! It made me go back in time and feel as if I was cooking with my grandma. Lovely and rustic Italian kitchen. The ingredients were all fresh from the farm or garden. Delicious! Positives: friendly staff, amazing courses, pretty scenery, location (from Figline Valdarno you can be in Siena, Arezzo or Firenze in 1 hour). Plenty of parking places, lovely pools (indoor and outdoor). The hotel itself is beautiful. Negatives: gym (*very* little and old resistance training equipment). Wellness area was under construction/ renovation so it was not accessible. Breakfast buffet was not the best: little to choose from, but most importantly, I would have hoped for (served) freshly brewed coffee and cappuccinos. We instead had to use a coffee machine in the buffet area. Some annoyances here and there about the shower; the water was set to our preference but would turn either super cold or super warm after a few seconds and lasting for a few seconds (for the entirety of your showering).”

“Very happy I booked this hotel for my family and friends. Hotel Pendini can be found across high-end stores and centrally located in Florence's must see spots. The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. Loved the decor and atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms. They also had a room for 4 people which is not easy to find in Europe. The breakfast had a variety of bread, fruits, yogurt, cereals and their cappuccino was so good, I had 2 cups. Very reasonably priced, highly recommended when you're in Florence.”

“Fantastic hotel, in a quiet area yet just 10 minute stroll along the river into the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, there is a minibar, safe, hairdryer, shower gels and tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cereals, pastries, cooked items, salads, pancakes and fresh fruit. The rooftop area is a bonus, with bar, comfy seats and a lovely heated swimming pool (properly heated, so it was nice to use even in November). The views from the rooftop were amazing. Definitely would return to this hotel if we ever visit Florence again.”

The common area had a nice Christmas tree. The breakfast was fine, they had sufficient choices and made drinks to order. Since we were there for only one night we were out and about but if we had stayed in the tea time / wine hour would have been a good option in the afternoon. We didn’t mind at all the short flight of stairs to get to the elevator to get to reception when we checked in (my four year old daughter climbed them with ease.)”

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot close to sight seeing / eating and was very beautiful and felt like home. They gave us entrance to their spa for our special trip and the staff was very inviting. What makes this hotel deserving of praise was the outstanding hospitality and customer service, specifically the concierge Alessandro Marchese. He made our stay amazing and was so kind and gracious to recommend us gems to eat at and visit that that he himself went to. He genuinely felt like a close friend going great lengths to ensure we had a pleasant time in his city and I can’t begin to thank him enough for his kindness and help. He called his favorite restaurants and ensured we got seats despite how busy they were. It is rare to find someone so genuinely passionate about customer service and I cannot thank him enough for his kindness! The hotel itself is definitely worth the stay but what made it stand out above everywhere else we visited was Alessandro. We will definitely return for another stay just to see him!”

The communication from the shipping vendor was great, and I had no problems with shipment. I did not have to pay any import fees, or shipping fees, or anything. UPS just gave me the box and I signed for it, and that was it. The wine arrived intact and was amazing.”
