“Hello everyone, My husband and I had our wedding at the Cantemerle on Sept 30th, and it was fantastic. The Cantemerle is a lovely place, very peaceful, and it is a perfect spot for a small wedding (60 person max). We couldn’t have chosen a better venue & dinner for our special day. The staff did an excellent job, and they ensured that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious with a nice presentation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Lea (the sales/event coordinator at the Hotel) was incredible, she supported us during the process and ensured that everything was all set before and during the event. While the venue exuded charm, unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The waitstaff displayed a condescending demeanor, which dampened our dining experience. The desserts were a major disappointment, falling far below our expectations. Additionally, the lukewarm tea was far from satisfactory. In a rather unusual gesture, instead of the promised complimentary dessert for my mom's birthday, the restaurant took a guest's dessert order, added a candle, and presented it as a gift. This departure from the expected birthday treat was somewhat perplexing and didn't align with the special occasion we had hoped to celebrate. Despite the restaurant's captivating atmosphere, the overall experience was marred by service issues and a deviation from the anticipated birthday celebration. We had hoped for more on this special occasion.”

“Visit date: July - August 2023 I recently stayed at La Bastide de Biot, and it was unforgettable and just amazing! The staff were kind, the breakfast was great and every facility was fantastic. Firstly, the staff were happy to explain every question I had. They helped with all our requests and gave us free water, wine and orange juice. Every time we walked by, they smiled at us and waved at us, and even chatted with us occasionally! Secondly, each room was provided with enough space and facilities. The toilets were clean, bed was made, and everything was tidy. The balcony was extremely helpful for washing clothes (bottom floor rooms also had one). Thirdly, the swimming pool was clean and toys, float boards and balls were provided. The water temperature was perfect, and the sun Ed’s were super comfortable. The table tennis and table football tables were fine, and rarely used by guests. Fourthly, the car park was great. The gate had a password after 8pm, for safety. Only guests knew the password. Disabled car spaces were provided if needed. Finally, the breakfast was brilliant. Although there wasn’t much options, the ones present were great. From continental, to French, they were all present. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Will come back soon! Thank you to all La Bastide de Biot staff!”

“An amazing hotel! We paid €1400 (intimacy double bed room) for 7 nights which is very reasonable for a 4-star hotel and for the excellent service we received. We loved our stay here! The staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed our welcome drink and free tote bag upon arrival. Our room was lovely, it was quite big and well-lit, the bathroom sink area was nice and big, the bed was very big and comfortable, the shower was really good and well above your average hotel shower. The soap/body wash was really nice too. Everything was very clean and the cleaners did a brilliant job everyday. The receptionists were very polite and accommodating to our needs. The swimming pool was amazing, although it was a little cold, it was nice on a hot day. We really enjoyed our food from the hotel restaurant - it was really nice and affordable too (hotel guests received a 10% discount), the scenery of the garden whilst eating was idyllic too. The location of the hotel was brilliant - (in walking distance) 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from Old Nice. It was quiet at night and felt like a very safe and area. We enjoyed our stay here so much we can’t wait to hopefully return for our holiday next year!”
