“Exceeded our expectations. Room was clean and pretty. We got a corner room right by the neon sign and I just loved the view. I loved how they had so many windows so the room would just lit up, there was a great amount of sunlight coming in which was great. The only thing I would say is the heat was very loud so I had to turn it off because it disturbed my sleep. Location: right at the prime location. Service: we didn’t have any housekeeping during our stay due to our request of privacy but they did have housekeeping everyday, the people was very nice and helpful:) Breakfast was great Front desk was great also”

“We enjoyed our stay overall at this Marriott! We were impressed with the small kitchen in our room and our ability to cook a full meal in it. The bed was pretty comfortable and the room didn't feel too cluttered. The pool & lifeguard situation is interesting, but that's due to the city requirements. Thankful to the employees suggesting street parking over the weekend, we didn't have to pay for any parking during our stay. The gym was pretty pathetic though and it would have been nice to have more dairy free options at breakfast and labels for the major allergens”

“We conducted a work event here. The hotel staff was excellent at assisting us with all our needs. The conference room we used was a tad small but worked well for what we needed it for. Coffee was provided as well as a complementary room since we booked over 50 rooms total. The location in Shirlington is nice. There is a Harris Teeter across the street as well as numerous restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. The lobby is stylish and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a conference or even for a stay if on vacation in the area.”

“Love this hotel. I was late for breakfast my first day and they had closed but people were still seated and food still out. They didn't HAVE to let me in but Joanne did. She was so nice and accommodating. It was such a kind gesture that genuinely didn't affect her but she could have stuck to the cutoff time, saying no and forcing me to go somewhere else and just setting my day back. These small things are what sets hotels apart and can really put a bump in someone's day. I loved the customer service here and whenever I am in the area, this will be my preferred place. The rooms are updated, AC works. The beds could be a little but comfier but not a big deal.”

“Stayed here for a few days while we were visiting Washington DC. We had a really good experience overall. We didn't have any issues with the room. The room looked clean and everything was working properly. They had pretty good food options for breakfast. They stopped serving breakfast at 9, which is a little earlier than usual. It was a little hard to find, but the location was pretty nice overall. It is not a far drive from here to DC. Overall would come back again.”
