“With many guests coming from out of state as well as across town, we were very pleased with our large wedding block of rooms at the Holiday Inn. The manager, Pilar, helped us set up the blocks and she kept us updated with lists of which guests were booking. We felt we got a very reasonable rate for the area, and were given a convenient link we used on our wedding website. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms were modern and clean. It was great to have two hotels that were next to each other (Holiday Inn and Staybridge on Opdyke Road) so that our guests could choose the room layout that worked best for them and we could arrange transportation from the joint parking lot area to our venue. It gave us peace of mind that they worked with us a full year in advance, as we were booking for a popular weekend. We coordinated with the hotel in advance to come up with a plan for a setup for our guest favor boxes and the staff helped us set them up on a table by the front desk. They kept track of check-ins within our block and made sure everyone grabbed their gift box. Our guests were happy with the hotel and staff and we highly recommend staying here as well as considering them for a wedding block!”

“This was a very nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms. I was surprised by how much room we had- it was 2 queen beds and a couch area. I did not hear any road noise even though we were facing the main road and I could not hear noise from any other rooms. Parking is convenient behind the building or in a ramp behind the building. There was a play park behind the parking ramp which worked great for my two grandchildren and many places to eat and get ice cream within walking distance. The staff was very helpful at recommending places to take my grandkids and the continental breakfast was the best I've seen. Great job Hyatt!”

“The location and price of this hotel is good since it’s right by a lot of shopping, restaurants, and the freeway. The only issue I had when staying was with the first room sink, which was stopping up when I was washing my hands. When advising the young lady at the front desk on the night of check-in, she immediately switched me to a new room with no issue since maintenance was gone for the day. I asked for housekeeping to come and clean the room and the young man at the front desk in the morning advised that the hotel was completely booked and he would try to fit my room in to be cleaned. Let’s just say the room was never cleaned and when calling for new towels an attitude was given. The rooms could use a little more detailed cleaning and some type of freshener used when cleaning the room.”

“The lady at the front desk was the worst. I don't know why this hotel has more than 4-star reviews on Google. No way. The hotel also looks so old and dim. Please live nearby better hotels you can get at the same price. Also, this is definitely not a kids (No way) friendly hotel. To answer to your reply: When a front desk lady doesn't care and do her own stuff and keep someone waiting, when she is clearly seeing a baby (9 months) is crying loudly, I have no interest to talk/discuss/go close to that hotel anymore. Also, please in addition to renovate the hotel, "renovate" the front desk people. Thank you.”

“One of the best hotels we ever stayed in and we travel a lot! The room was spacious and the breakfast was great, along with a lot of variety! They have mini waffles and all the toppings that go on them along with so many other options! They even have nori and rice and everything that goes in it! Everyone that worked here was so friendly. Hannah checked us in and answered all of our questions. She was very friendly and the perfect person to greet us. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again if we were ever in Novi.”

“My wife and I love these hotels; spacious clean rooms, staff is always friendly and attentive, but the walls a ceiling are very thin. You could here everything...sounded like a basketball game was above us and a whiney puppy on the side. In fairness, this was the first time we've stayed at this location. The other locations we have not noticed the noise from our neighbors.”
