The rooms were clean and spacious, nicely decorated with good quality furniture. Marble bathrooms. Views of the runways. They have an awesome restaurant. We were up early showered and at our gate in 40 minutes. Worth every penny!!”

The best hotel in the area by far. No pool but the ocean and Mavericks surf spot right out front. Exceptional location and facilities for a wedding. Would be hard to beat.”

Bed was soo comfortable that we had to ask for the mattress brand to get one for our house. Valet guys were fast, respectful, very efficient. “My only complaint is that I had no cell reception in my room, and the hotel wifi was twitchy at best and kept dropping. (I try to avoid it most of the time). I am used to that in rural areas, but not in the bay area. One night would have been tolerable, but I was there for 8. Very nice staff and breakfast!”

“We've been here since September 2023. We have never stayed at a hotel where they offer such good services as Sonesta. More than 10 rooms are all Vietnamese who do not understand English fluently, but this this barrier does not prevent them from providing perfect support. They allocated the BBQ area and banquet room for us this holiday. It would have been hard to clean up after that, but Sonesta was happy to support us. “Only Hotel in the Hilton Family that has not let me remote check in and release my digital key. 8 years oh being a Hilton Honors member they demanded a physical card on hand to pay a deposit to release the room. On a corporate visit prepaid with a corporate card I did not have on my person. I do not recommend this location as they did not even try to provide customer service. I had enough pints for one of the two nights; they still did not accommodate.”

“I really liked this place. Easy to get to from my mountain home. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. I didn’t find the rooms outdated, but maybe I’m outdated. I liked the decor. I loved that they had common dispensers for shampoo, soap, etc. And they have the best little light for reading for us guys with weak eyes that I’ve ever seen in a motel. I am doing a park and fly and the parking lot is small and easy to use. Coffee in the lobby at 5 AM waiting for my shuttle was perfect. Since the shuttle won’t be available during the time of my return flight they refunded me $18 for an Uber. I will be returning here.”

“Your experience at front desk is going to be 50/50 if it's going to be good. The younger Asian guy is pretty absent and not helpful. We called the day before for an early check in, and the person at the front desk make sure to make a note on our reservation. Although when we arrived, this "note" was missing. So we ended up waiting 3+ hours for our room. I understand check in is at 3pm and anything early is a favor. But that's why we called the day before. Don't tell it will be ready and then change your terms the last minute.”

“My wife and I stayed here on August 14. 2023. The place was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was also located just a hop and skip away from University Drive and was close to Stanford University. The hotel check-in and check-out was quick; the staff was attentive and helpful. There is parking along the side of the building and a nice Italian restaurant, with outdoor seating, on the bottom floor. It is a bit difficult to see the sign for the building, but Waze took us to the correct spot.”

“The room was great and once I got the link for checking in, the rest of the process was fairly easy to navigate. The room was clean and modern, it was fairly easy for my disabled mom to navigate (I had not requested a handicapped accessible room but did get a room on the first floor), and the check out process was simple. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy as far as walking around by myself, but there were restaurants and a small store within walking distance. Seniore’s pizza (lots of other choices besides pizza) was excellent. I did have minor difficulties in that I did not receive the check-in link at first but once that was ironed out, everything else was pretty straightforward.”

The furniture in the room appeared to be on the older side, and the lighting at the bathroom sink was noticeably dim, which made it challenging to get ready. The facilities were very nice and they have lots to do. They are a bit of a destination camp ground. We will certainly go back. The grandkids are already asking us when.”

“We stayed at the hotel while looking for a home when we moved to the area. Josh helped us with check-in and it was a great experience. Staffs are very friendly and supportive. The hotel location is a bit far from any walking-distance restaurant or grocery, but as long as you drive it is fine. Rooms are clean, I only used the laundry among the amenities and it was neat and fast. Overall the stay was great, thank you!”
