“Just a bit far from downtown St George this great Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is the right place to stay in St George. I have visited most of the Hotels in the area and this location is the best place for me so far. Rooms are just the right size, clean and comfortable. This will be the perfect place for me to stay again. Located in exit 2 interstate 15 FWY.”

Watchman Campground

UT-9, Springdale, UT 84767, United States

“Booked a 2 night stay on their Government app. I parked my car and set up shop. The picnic table was great to eat on and dry my wet clothes. The parking was enough for two vehicles. The floor grill was big enough to light a log for cold nights. Water access from an outdoor faucet to put out the fire wood. There were plenty of restrooms around the loops. Enough neighbors to feel safe when camping. Setting up my tent was easy. The walk to the park trams was a breeze. There is a beach access across loop B. I charged my phone using the provided electrical outlet in my parking station. Definitely worth the fees the park charges to stay for a couple of days. Thank you Zion!”

511 S Tech Ridge Dr, St. George, UT 84770, United States

“My wife and I are locals, and the the Inn on the Cliff is one of our go-to places to stay when we want to get away overnight. The view of St George from the balcony is spectacular, especially at night. At our last stay (December 2023), the room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the check-in and room service was quick and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was brought to our room; a very nice touch.”

“Stayed at the Lodge 11/5/2023, the night before hiking the Narrows. This place is gorgeous, and the location couldn't be better! Stayed in a Queen Hillside Suite on the 2nd floor. The room was huge. Two queen beds and a pill out sofa, great …”

Hyatt Place St. George / Convention Center

Closed until 03:00 PM

1819 S 120 E, St. George, UT 84790, United States

“I’ve stayed here a couple of times when attending a convention as the location is really handy, and I’m a Hyatt loyalist. It is walking distance for the convention center. Rooms are really nice and clean. I had a king room, clean, nice seating area, clean bathroom, etc. breakfast was good but I think Hyatt Place everywhere in the USA need to improve their coffee game. The breakfast coffee tasted like it was sitting for several hours, and when I got mine at 8am it was really toward the end of the pot and needed changing out. The room coffee is generic. Though I did notice some Starbucks taps, behind the bar for cold brew and nitro Starbucks. I didn’t try them, as I wanted hot coffee. I think Hyatt places need to improve their in room, coffee, machine, and brand other than that no complaints. I bring my own portable coffee maker and coffee and will continue to stay here when I’m St. George Utah. Limited good food options within walking distance in this area so delivery apps may be your friend if you don’t have a car.”

Desert Pearl Inn
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

707 Zion Park Blvd, Springdale, UT 84767, United States

“This is my go-to place for my wife and my anniversary. It's desert-swanky and the rooms are very comfortable. Pool and hot tub are great, service is above average, and the location is in one of the prettiest places on earth. Do yourself a favor and come here in the offseason. If you can find your way here when it snows, you're in for a spectacular treat. The red sandstone pops with the snow and the crowds are none existent. The hotel makes a perfect staging area for your adventures. Plus, the floors are heated to warm up your dogs when you come back from the cold. Love this place and look forward to coming back soon.”

Zion Wildflower Resort - Glamping Zion National Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 AM

100 Kolob Ter Rd, Virgin, UT 84779, United States

“I stayed at the Wildflower in a group setting for a retreat and was very impressed with the location, the layout, the amenities, and the service. The property is not only close to Zions National Park but also within driving distance of many local sites that St. George has to offer. The property layout was very conducive to allowing big groups, families, or even couples to feel they had enough room to enjoy the property while not imposing on other people's stay. With multiple fire pits, open grass areas, beautiful scenic views, and peaceful evenings. The pool was great, the rooms were great, and the three choices of room types could fit anyone's choice and budget. I came in a group as a retreat, but I will definitely be bringing my family back! I would highly recommend it.”

Staybridge Suites St George, An Ihg Hotel

1301 Sunland Dr, St. George, UT 84790, United States

“Unsettling Experience with Armed Police Presence I am currently staying at this hotel and encountered an alarming situation. Armed police officers are consistently present throughout the hotel, including during breakfast, in the lobby, and in the hallways, creating a disconcerting atmosphere. What's even more concerning is that when I expressed my concerns to the hotel management and requested that they ask the officers to disarm within the hotel. Despite my fear for my safety, I received an uncooperative response from management, with the statement, "That's not gonna happen." Then a staff member went and summoned the police due to my complaints, even though I was not engaging in any illegal activity. I soon found myself surrounded by multiple police officers, some with their hands on their guns, questioning my guest status and attempting to solicit a trespassing complaint from management. I appreciate the hotel's decision not to pursue the trespass, but bringing the police over in the first place escalated the situation unnecessarily. The police went on to threaten me with various charges, call St George Police on me, and said they have thousands of dollars worth of equipment with them and if anything happens to it they will charge me with it. For those who prefer not to be around armed individuals, especially with children, I recommend inquiring about the presence of the Utah Highway Patrol at this hotel. The situation raises concerns about safety and the overall guest experience. In summary, I did not feel safe with 8-10 armed officers present in the hotel, and I believe the hotel should require ALL guests to be unarmed at all times when inside the hotel, which is well within the hotels right to do. Adopting this policy will ensure a more secure and comfortable environment for all guests.”

Gooseberry Lodges

1752 W Plns Dr, Apple Valley, UT 84737, United States

“Wow I was so impressed with this hotel/camping business. Our room was immaculate and perfect for our last minute Zion trip. We only stayed a night but if we stayed longer we surely would have used many of the facilities it offers (fire pit, tennis court, cornhole). The bathrooms were very clean and towels were provided. I would recommend bringing a toiletry bag that can hang, because there isn’t much shelf space but hey that’s just part of camping! Our party of two adults stayed in the deluxe room, it was perfect in size. The beds were comfortable and the room stayed warm; I would recommend bringing an eye mask if you are sensitive to light. we enjoyed the coffee at the main office. We brought our own cooler with drinks & snacks, highly recommend since there are limited stores around it. I will definitely be returning to this Lodge and hopefully bringing the family with. It’s perfect distance to Zion.”

Zion White Bison Glamping + Rv Resort

“This is the perfect getaway. I met the owner who is genuinely grateful for the business and works hard to ensure everyone feels safe, comfortable and right at home. Staff are super friendly, rooms super clean, grounds impeccably well maintained. One of my favorite things is the full privacy with your own hot tub, BBQ and table with fire pit. Along with being pet friendly, I couldn’t think of anyplace else’s I’d have wanted to spend last weekend. I can’t wait to go back.”

“I was seeking a quiet and beautiful place to settle for the night around Zion. I am impressed with the location and views this property has. The room is very clean and modern. Big bathroom with a shower / tub combination. Great local bars to venture within walking distance making for fun evening nights. There is a hot tub on the mountainside that has phenomenal views, I'll be giving it a soak tonight after a night around the town. Customer service was smooth. Very kind hearted person on the reservation line. I can tell they care about their customers. I'll be back for sure!”

Comfort Inn Saint George North

974 N 2720 E, St. George, UT 84790, United States

“I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn and found it to be a good value for the price. The room was well-maintained and tidy. We were impressed that whenever we were out for more than 2 - 3 hours, we would come back to a fully cleaned room with clean beds, rooms and no missing items. However, the beds themselves were very hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were too soft and thin. We had to stack two pillows to get any comfort. The blankets were not warm at all. Although we were able to sleep, the experience could have been better. The hot tub and pool were okay, but the hot tub needs better ventilation as there was a strong chlorine smell in the air. The air was so thick that even being in the area of the hot tub caused our eyes to burn. Even opening all three windows did not help. Having a box fan would have helped to circulate the air and make the experience more pleasant. Overall, this is a decent place to stay for the price, but if it is not on a budget, I would not return.”
