“It’s not even a 4 * hotel. Poor breakfast, no Wi-Fi at the pool, very uncomfortable mattress- asked for a king bed and we were give two singles put together with no topper ( unacceptable for any hotel, especially for a 5*). Booked for dinner and only when we showed up, we were told we couldn’t wear shorts. They have no prices on the menu and staff is very cold and head-waiter was staring at our feet for wearing flip flops at breakfast.”

“We spent a week at the hotel and loved every minute of it. Even before we arrived, the communications with the hotel was flawless - timely and kind. Our group included 7 adults and 4 children - two of which were a year old. We had four hotel rooms. Rooms: Comfortable and clean. Large bed. Great pillows. Fridge and electric kettle included. No iron. Restaurant / food and beverages: Delicious and plenty. From a variety of breakfast items and fresh coffee, tasty lunch options, to yummy dinner offering - all was top notch and a la carte. All you can drink house wine - white and red :) minus - no pizza served. But, some of the best pasta I’ve ever had :) Service: All I can say is “wow”. Everyone was so friendly and forthcoming. Maia at the lobby bar was an incredible young woman who went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay. Thank you! Kid-friendly: The hotel restaurant prepared separate cooked veggies and home-made broth for the two one year olds in our group. They literally cooked them their own meals! Outside of the regular food serving hours! We appreciated this so much! There is a whole playroom in the lobby area adjacent to the bar :) Get your glass of aperol spritz and relax while your kiddos play - it’s a win win! Each night, in the Hotel Majestic next door (sister hotel), there was a dance party for the kids! Super fun! It’s an animator-led fun (think Macarena and musical chairs). One hour of that in the evening, and the kids sleep well into the morning 🥳 Beach: I mean - it was incredible. Everyone had their own preassigned seats and umbrellas. There was a bar/restaurant on the beach serving yummy and refreshing drinks and food. Overall - I wish we could go back next year! One of the better vacation stays we have ever had :)”

“We stayed at Hotel Derby for a week in June and it was absolutely wonderful! The owners and staff clearly want to please the guests. Even though we could not speak Italian (we did try), we were greeted with warm smiles and a staff that went out of the way for our every request. My daughter got a little cut while playing outside and they ran to get her band-aides and anti-bacterial ointment. Every day we were amazed by the range of foods that were served daily (dozens of options) and the desserts were spectacular. We travel the world and have lived in Europe for a few years and this has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back year after year!”

“It is a fantastic hotel, with underground parking, heated pool and all the luxuries you can wish. It's near the center so all the atractions are there: Pineta Disco, Papete Beach, etc. It's not a 5 star hotel but neither a 4 star: it is a 4 star superiore (superior) as they like to call it. And if you ask me they really deserve that 'superiore' ranking :)”

“In general, an environment of very high quality, partly aging, but still with a lot of style. The rooms and all other areas were always clean. Unfortunately, the prices at the hotel bar were very high (more than 6 euros for a beer). The visit to the spa costs 20 euros per person per day and is totally worth it, there were two different Turkish baths, one normal and the other aromatic, as well as three different saunas. One of 10 meters and another smaller with massage jets and for children to play, surrounded by very comfortable beds to relax with electrically adjustable armrests”

This one ticked all the boxes, but what made a big difference as well is the personalized and friendly attitude of the owner and the staff. Food was great, always fresh and high quality, beautifully presented. Lots of sea food, and extras on request. Worked very well with the kids, who quickly learned to get what they want in the restaurant, and the shallow sand beach right across the road (beach service, towels and parking were included as a nice bonus). They were crying on the day we were leaving.”

Showers are very small and water seems stripping of moisture? Breakfast and lunch are great and there's a small bar if you'd like a glass of vino or cocktail. “I stayed in the hotel Aurelia for 3 nights, and I had a terrific experience. We booked the room in very last minute and arrived in Milano Marittima. After checking in upon arrival, we proceeded to the room which was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast in the morning is very good, with so many options to choose from. The staff even makes the pancakes, crepes and all sorts of eggs on your request in front of you. Lunch and dinner are also served in the hotel, and the quality of the food is superb. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly, totally recommend. The private hotel beach is amazing too, you can rent your own umbrella + sunbeds pack and enjoy entire day sunbathing on the beach. There are also beach volley, beach tennis and table tennis facilities, and the sliders for kids, so everyone can have fun. The experience I had in the hotel was amazing. The staff is genuinely super nice, Nenad from reception was very helpful and friendly. I cannot say anything but nice words for my stay in hotel Aurelia. Totally recommend to everyone who wants to have a great time, enjoy nice food and feel like a part of the family, instead of feeling just like a number in a big hotel. “We loved our stay, we "upgraded" from another location that wasn't quite what we expected! I phoned the number they give and spoke to the lovely Gaia who did her best to find us another room at Miami beach about 30min drive from where we where. At the hotel Miami beach we found such lovely people helping us!! Starting from reception, where Chiara was just amazing!! they gave us an amazing room and all of their staff was super friendly!! And Carmine at the bar who kept us company while drinking coffee or having an amazing aperitivo!! Thanks to Anna and Margherita aswell for keeping the rooms neat. And then our favourite entertainer who was everywhere!! Edoardo my husband can still hear you calling him🤣 it was a last minute decision to go on this 7 day trip and you guys made us feel at home! With the beautiful hotel and the super yummy food🤤🤤 the kids had a blast and i would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!!”

Some improvements can be made regarding the meal picking for the next day (the English/Romanian translations where really bad). The staff looking for your kids are only speaking italian. If you are a night person, Zadina has nothing to offer, but the bus (2 or 126) will take you to Cesenatico port for 1.6 euro (one way).”
