“The reasoning for four stars instead of five is I had no power in my room for over 12 hours. The water was fine. The first night was excellent, though. This is the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. I tend to do a cleaning touch up whenever I arrive, but I felt no need here. When I could use the TV, it had a good connection with a clear picture. Photo provided shows lights in the "on" position”

“I stay at this location because it's very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. However, there is an issue that needs to be fixed. In almost every room I've stayed in, the sink drain, shower drain and shower head need to be fixed. A slow drain is a health hazard. There should not be any standing water in the shower nor the sink. It's gross. Also, shower heads are not expensive. When they deteriorate, they should be replaced. Please fix these issues. Also tattered towels and shower curtains are unacceptable.”

“The rooms are very large; it felt like a business class room, the one i was in. Very special to me and was the biggest highlight! Couldn't hear anything outside of the room which was great! Also the door was able to prop open so I could roll the cart in and out easier. Breakfast was normal as most hotels, but they had cheese omlettes and potatoes! Service was good. I checked in and out quick.-- but I did book in advance online at the Hilton website The cons: Some hotels use liquid soaps mounted on the walls, but this one still had the classic bar soaps. They also still have the classic tub/shower combo. I personally don't like these and prefer stand up showers. They're much more elegant and look and feel better. I doubt anyone takes a bath in a public tub anyways. Also was expensive. Overall, a solid location to stay for the nice room sizes and i would stay again, though, I wouldn't do it on my own dime because of the price.”

“The reviews for this hotel are very deceiving. The evening staff was great, that is about the only good thing I have to say. The hotel itself, trash. I was in a non smoking room yet the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke. The sofa was absolutely disgusting. The carpet, sticky. It was just myself and my 3 children and I did not feel safe at all. There were homeless folks in and out of the lobby and one on the 4th floor sitting in the elevator hall when we were leaving. I booked the room for 4 days but left after the first night. If it hadn’t been so late when we got there, I would have left as soon as I saw the room. We drove 12 hours (with a 3 year old) and we needed to sleep.. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I am thankful for the evening staff though. She understood my concerns and there was no push back when I told her I needed to change my stay from 4 nights to 1.”

“The door in my room didn't shut all of the way, you had to use the lock to rachet it closed and there was still light around all sides of the door. The beds were horrible. I have camped on the ground and been more comfortable. If you're looking for a comfortable bed in a room that is actually private this is not the place. It was so bad I changed hotels and just ate the price of the room for one night. The only highlight of this trip was Doug. Doug, if you're reading this you were the only positive about our stay. Thank you.”

“Our second time staying here and again, a great experience. The inn keepers are very helpful and friendly. And the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing that I didn't like was that the bed in the Pikes Peak room is under a very short ceiling thereby causing me, even though I'm only 5' 8", to bump my head a number of times. If it were me, I would recommend the bedroom and the sitting room be swapped in order to avoid this issue. I still have to rate the entire thing 5 stars because I believe the B&B is the epitome of what a B&B should be.”

“This hotel should be lower in cost for rooms. I'm glad I didnt stay here longer than 1 night. Dont call location to reserve room do it online! I called to figure out the reservation details and the person insisted I reserve with her so i gave her the card information and she said just to use the same card when i got there. When i checked in yesterday i could not use the card i had without the person present, which is something they need to tell you on the phone! I can do this at other hotels. Ridiculous! Room was clean and nice! The reason I gave 2 stars is there was no running hot water in the morning to shower. If i have to pay as much as I did, I expect hot water. So that was pretty dissapointing. Free hot breakfast in the morning was okay. Loved that it was on base and its nice and quiet.”
