“We spent a week here. The hotel is in a very good location, everything is easily accessible. The train station is 10 minutes away, from which you can easily and quickly get to the nearby cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca). The staff is very kind and helpful, especially the waiter named Stefano. The room is comfortable and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. The breakfast is the usual buffet, everyone will find something suitable for them. The dinner is varied, very tasty, but not very large portions, it was enough for us, but it might not be enough for a person with a bigger appetite. The pool was in another building, it was clean and the view was nice.”

“Beautiful town, gorgeous mountain view. Staff was lovely, always helpful. If you need something, just ask them. Buffet-style breakfast was extraordinary; it was a delicious array of Italian meats and cheeses, eggs. pastries, fruits, tomatoes that will ruin you for any others, and coffies. Hotel was rustic; be realistic with expectations. It is very, very affordable, charming, family-owned (not another boring corporate chain), full of character. Could use a face lift, but who cares really, this is Tuscany, look at the country view, go outside, enjoy the slower side of life for a while. Lastly, hotel bar is phenomenal! ETA: I forgot to emphasize: make every effort to visit the hotel bar, if even for a coffee. I swear the genius mixologist, who I affectionately refer to as Hercules, can read your mind and devise the perfect cocktail for you. He put a smile on my face every day of my entire stay!”

Breakfast is decent, about average for this standard of hotel. There is a swimming pool with a nice area for sunbathing. Location is nice and central, about 5 mins from either train station. Overall, it's an okay place to stay.”

“A well located hotel with a great staff. Our room was small and minimalist, but always perfectly cleaned. We had a cute little balcony, we had dinner there a few times. The two receptionists (the blonde lady, and the young man) were adorable! Breakfast was okay, but I expected more vegetables and fruits. The wellness area looked amazing. A 2-hour wellness ticket costs 10 € / person, however you cannot use the saunas, only the jakuzzi. When we tried to turn on the sauna, the alarm started to ring very loudly, so i suggest not to try it. All in all: if you want to stay at a quiet hotel, near to the railway station and the center, and you don't want to wellness every day: it's a good choice for you. P.S: The hotel is from a 3-4 minutes walk from Gelateria Desideri which is a MUST TRY! The most delicious icecrem what I've ever eaten.”

“nice rooms, every evening the whole hotel and everything around starts to stink of burnt wood and smoke so close your eyes if you have asthma it will be very difficult for you, it is not possible to open the window, the whole room will stink of smoke. I don't know why it is. it's a very bad experience, breakfast was identical all 10 days, I mean 200% the same, nothing has changed, it's hard and not pleasant. you are forced to eat because you are hungry and what you have has long been tired.”
