“A must stay. This was the last stop on our 15 day, 5-star romp around Rome and the Amalfi coast, and clearly we saved the best for last. When I say I had my breath taken away, I truly mean it. Not only is every nook and cranny absolutely beautiful, but the staff at Caruso are on another level. The hotel’s location alone would attract repeat visitors, but the hospitality shown by the hotel staff are what make it an exceptional property. Though we wanted for nothing, every need we had (such as extra foam pillows and a steamer) was immediately executed. We want to especially thank Francesca for welcoming us so warmly. We had the opportunity to eat, swim, and use the spa during our 3 nights at Caruso and all were top notch. Our room featured a stunning terrace and came equipped with a Dyson hair dryer. There was even a 110 volt outlet in the bathroom for US electronics! We also appreciated the literature in the room that detailed all available experiences at the hotel (including complimentary shuttle services to nearby towns as well as boat tours) and the use of the Belmond phone app. If you’re like us, and wondering whether Ravello is worth a stop while visiting the Amalfi coast, I cannot recommend it enough. It is such a refreshing change of pace from the super crowded areas of Amalfi, Positano, and Capri. It is easy to stroll around, eat, shop, and visit beautiful gardens. Our only regret was not staying longer, which just means we will have to return sooner rather than later!”

“We absolutely loved this hotel! It was in a perfect spot in Positano that was both easily accessible but peaceful. It’s a lovely walk from the hotel to the town center, and doesn’t really require any stairs which is a big pro. The views were beautiful from every location in the hotel, and breakfast was amazing right on the water! It was amazing having a quieter beach to go to with discounted chairs, and the food on the beach was amazing. The staff were all super friendly and helped us with our luggage on the very steep stairs when we arrived and left.”

“The Eden Roc Hotel was more than a pleasant surprise. At a very fair price for the area, Eden Roc delivers on every level. Our check in process was extremely smooth and we received a very detailed personal walkthrough of the hotel and our room provided by the on staff hotel manager. The room itself was immaculate. A noticeably classic Positano style but also upgraded for the times with multiple region charge ports and a lovely in frame flat screen TV. The room was also filled with every amenity you could ask for as well as a private hot tub on the balcony coupled with a breathtaking view of the Positano coastline. If ever we needed anything take in care of or brought to the room, the staff was always there to assist within minutes. The hotel also boasts 2 restaurants as well as a lush wine room for private or group wine tastings. The restaurant on the top floor is a more classic and broad menu that serves dishes like pasta, salads and meat based entrees. You can also enjoy the daily breakfast buffet upstairs from 7:30am until 10:30am. The restaurant in the ground floor “The Roc” is a very upscale restaurant focusing on gourmet style pizza and a very large library of aged steaks. Reservations are required for “The Roc” so make sure to plan accordingly. We will most definitely be staying at the Eden Roc during our next visit to Positano and I highly recommend that you do too!”

“It's a nice place at least for the pool which it's amazing. The room is also nice but to switch on/off the climatisation, you need to call the reception each time?! The restaurant is no great but since I was before the season I understand. You do not have choices in the menus except on what they purpose. People are very friendly and always available for you but all this does not worth the 4 stars they announce. There are during the weekends marriages so the pool can be reserved and then you must find something else to do.”

Hotel is in the center of everything, located along the main shopping/pedestrian areas. The staff is excellent: very friendly and accommodating, with a solid breakfast. “I can’t comment on the hotel itself since we only had dinner here, but during our three week honeymoon this was by far the worst dinner we had. The service was horrible. We waited for 45 minutes to order our food and wine. It took another 25 minutes for them to bring our wine out. They kept the wine on a shelf away from our table so my husband had to keep getting up to pour for us because they did not top up our glasses. I ordered fried calamari in a lemon sauce, I received a soy sauce with a side of lemons - for 40 euros. My husband's steak was over cooked and his vegetables were mushy.”
