“I hate having to pay for parking when the room itself was $270. Parking at a hotel should be included. When we walked into our hotel room, an overwhelming smell of mildewy damp sour hit us. The room smelled dirty and gross. We got in late and were totally exhausted so we didn’t want to change rooms. We pulled our shoes off to get in bed, and my husband stepped in a giant wet sticky spot on the floor right next to the bed. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so sticky that he had to instantly hop in the shower and soap his feet. So nasty. A disappointing sub par experience. We always stay at Marriott as gold members and this room was unacceptable.”

“Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. Reception was incredibly friendly and check-in was easy. (The brothers who own the hotel were there checking people in - which made us feel so welcomed!) We stayed in the Cloud Suite, which is directly across from the speakeasy. It had all the amenities needed for our one night stay. The lobby bar is open until 2am, and the drinks were amazing! Highly recommend checking out Ginger’s. It’s a new cocktail lounge right across from the hotel. We also walked to Wild Salsa which is about .5 miles from SOVA. Overall amazing experience! We’ll stay again.”

“The service I received here was great. I arrived late and the front desk person made sure I wasn't put in a room with "issues." That being said, this made me think there are rooms with issues as other reviewers have stated. My room was great it was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Not sure about the other rooms. It is a bit of a maze and the you definitely need a map. Night time was hard to find the room. I am a Hyatt member and this was not the best Hyatt but also not the worse.”

“Heat was out in our first room, they moved us to a second room with no hassle, but it was a smaller room whoch was sad. Heat was blowing cold in that room too, but the front desk got maintenance in to fix it and the rest of our stay was pleasant. Spent a week there and was never bothered by noise or anything. Only bad thing was the elevator always smelled like weed, but that's not within the hotels control. I'd stay there again. The staff were all very kind and helpful.”

“The room was small. Too soft pillows, had to bring my own. Bathroom small, ceiling fan weak, no dresser to put our clothes in. Closet was miniscule. The sleeper soda was uncomfortable to sit on. The TV stations available were terrible. Not everyone wants to watch news and sports. Would have loved to relax after our meetings watching HGTV and Foid network The coffee packets provided were very good. The free breakfast was very good too. The employees went out of their way to be helpful. One employee, Shandon, tracked down a better refrigerator for us and personally brought it to our room so I could keep my insulin cold. They greeted us everytime we entered the lobby. The hotel is undergoing renovations so hopefully they will correct the problems.”

“Room was great and clean, and the breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. However....check in is at 3, and when arrived at 4, our rooms were still not ready. So we had to wait another while longer to get into our rooms. Then, we unfortunately had one of our family members get hurt during the trip and was unable to walk during checkout. We called to see if they had a wheelchair available, they did not. We had to resort to using one of the rolling chairs in the room to get my mother down to check out and out to the valet parking. We were then warned by the receptionist, very non-compassionately I might add, that we would have to make sure to get that chair back to the room or we would be charged for it. Instead of trying to help us, or showing the slightest bit of concern, we were admonished. Very unfortunate experience.”

“Older hotel in need of some updates. No usb in the rooms, our tub faucet was falling out of the wall, and wallpaper was starting to curl on the walls. The bed was comfy. They do offer coffee before 7am but after there is a charge. They have a restaurant on-site which is a nice convenience. I felt the valet was high for the area especially since they didn't allow self parking. My guess is they offer lower rates to corp planners for mtg rooms and make it up with guest costs.”

“I'm always shocked by hotel reviews. Cause so many people say stuff like it has just what you need. Im thinking no shot Sherlock what did y'all think it would have. Im more annoyed at the people posting stuff like that than i could ever be at the hotel. It's a for profit business they aren't going to give you more than you need.. This location is between the 400 dollar luxury hotels in uptown and the residential hotels as in they couldn't keep a lease hotels as you go north. I don't know what people are expecting from a hundred dollar hotel. I feel like we live in a society where people think they are fancier than they are. It's just a hundred dollar hotel. They actually fancy people are at the masion on Turtle Creek and you went to the choice hotels app. Which are good hotels that yes only give you what you need. They actually don't give you anything you pay for it in the cost of the room. If they give you more stuff they raise the price. So yes it has exactly what you need. No more than. This ain't Vegas it ain't the trump hotel. i mean it's a chain hotel. The comments i read on here seem like things that should be common sense anyway. Comments like it's fine if your just to go to the convention center. Everytime i read hotel comments I'm floored by how many people thinks it just wasn't quite good enough for them. Well there's always the anatole and the mansion on turtle Creek.”

“Just to be clear, this is an extended stay apartment complex. So any references to "adjoining", "suite", etc. all mean apartments next door and 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. We stayed in a 2 BR 2 BA which was a nice size. One room has a king bed with a shower and the other had 2 queens with a tub. The layout was fine. The closets were large, but I'm traveling so I didn't need a walk-in closet. The ice maker didn't work in our fridge. We were able to get the front desk to bring us a bag. There is an ice machine in the lobby area. They also have coin operated washers & dryers, which I didn't have time to use, but they looked fine. The room had been remodeled but had some issues with cleanliness. It was apparently an issue to get a shower curtain for the bathroom with the tub, so we didn't have one the first 2 nights. The lobby is in a different building, just as if it was a management office of a complex. These are 3 story buildings. Keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage, there is no elevator. We noticed trash piling up in the lower outside trash cans. There were quite a few broken down cars in the parking lot including a Hyatt House van sitting there with a flat tire. They charge $7.00 a day for parking which makes no sense. There is plenty of parking! The breakfast was decent but they were out of milk on my 2nd day. How do you run out of milk? Send someone to the store! There is also a bar at the front desk. The 2 ladies at the front were very helpful. All-in-all it was an ok trip. we weren't there much anyway.”

“This hotel is very nice and modern. The location is also very nice and plenty to do if would like to walk around catch a bite. They park your vehicle, they also bring your vehicle to you. They make sure they open your door. The rooms were big and roomy and clean. The only section I notice a bit dirty is the bathrooms. Either then that the hotel is very nice and comfortable.”
