“New Years Eve meal. I was very surprised to get a table on new years eve as I'd left it late to book somewhere. Was thrilled to get a table and the food and service did not disappoint. I had the pate to start and the chicken curry for my main. Both were lovely, the chicken curry was delicious and one of the best curries I've ever had. I did have a dessert of pear and apple trifle but I really didn't need it as I was full but this was also very good . Service was excellent. Will definitely be back .”

“Rooms were a reasonable size, clean and met our needs. Food was mediocre but fairly priced. That said, our breakfast was delicious. The facilities for the children were great with soft-play an outdoor park, animals, a swimming pool which were all free if staying. The service wasn't that great on the whole.although the older lady on the bar in the evening was lovely. We felt the lady in charge of the soft-play probably doesn't like children or people in general very much and that there were some quite unenthusiastic younger staff about the bar/reception/waiting. However, on the whole, our needs were met and the kids had a fabulous time.”

Booking a table for the next day was no problem. They have a site, and we did it online. Our dinner was very delicious! As a starter, we had crabs. As a main course, we ordered linguini, octopus, John Dory fish, and fish and chips. I was impressed! Since I know how to cook seafood (it’s very easy to overcook), I wasn’t sure that I would like octopus. The taste exceeded my expectations. It was cooked for perfection. For dessert, we ordered white chocolate cheese cake and apple, rhubarb, and ginger crumble. Wow, it was something special ! It's not just "nice." It was delicious.”

Well what can I say, it will not disappoint you , they treat you like ladies and lord. Staff calls you by your last name. Afternoon tea is not cheap like other people said , but it is an experience , I would book it again for a special occasion , and we will be booking it for a dinner in near future.
