“The location of the hotel is decent. The beach is walking distance. You cannot see the beach or sea much but by walking, you can reach in 7-8 mins. The good thing is you can see the Jagannath Temple from the balcony.The rooms are fine, could be much better with charge they take. When we entered the room, the balcony was a bit dirty, the linen looked a bit dirty. There was no water provided, we had to ask for it. Even their restaurant was closed which they did not inform prior. The next day when we asked to clean the room, we had to tell the housekeeper how to clean the floor. Overall their housekeeping service was poor and they need to take proper care of their guests. Dissatisfied with their service. If they improve their housekeeping service and maintain their rooms in high standard, it can be a good hotel to opt at Puri. Hope the management takes some steps.”

The stairs were crusted with dirt. For every little thing we had to call up and ask.I would rate a 1 out of 10 for maintenance. The food, however, was delicious, extraordinary and so was the service. Everyone attended to us with a smiling face. The Kitchen/catering manager was amicable and took great care of us. “Though the hotel was spacious and near to the NH, there was no parking facility inside the hotel campus. We had to park our fully packed car (as we were traveling from Bengaluru to Kolkata and halted in bhubaneswar) outside the hotel premises, which led to a tyre puncture and a whole different struggle in the morning. The lift was not working. Trust me after a day or two of constant driving, a functioning lift is a necessity. So going up the stairs with wobbly knees and tired feet at around 2am is not a pleasant feeling! Coming to the room... The bedsheet was full of stains, the pillows were uneven and somewhat distorted which led to a sprained neck. The pillow cover had stains on them. The towels were similarly very very dirty. The bathroom fittings were poorly placed. The jet spray was obviously on the wrong side of the wall..which caused a pretty big inconvenience. Now, for the ones who are NOT fond of lizards or insects, be aware... this hotel has some dinosaur size lizards. In the bathroom there were lizards and that was a HUGE disadvantage for me (read disadvantage as anxiety). Overall, I will Not recommend the hotel for a halt or any other purpose.”
