Top 5 Hotels in Guatemala
Km. 138, Aldea Madre Vieja Carretera a Monterrico, Taxisco Santa Rosa Guatemala, 06024, Guatemala
“This place was really impressive. The rooms are more on the modern side vs cabanas but the layout is friendly and very social kinda like a resort. It has a restaurant right in front of the beach and everyone gathers to see the sunset and to take pictures. Love it as the “resort” type of beach vibe vacation but I’d still choose Villa Nonna hands down over this place.”
4a Avenida Sur 24, Antigua Guatemala 03001, Guatemala
“This was a wonderful experience; the staff, room, and food were great. The hotel was located in a quiet area of Antigua. No heavy traffic noise. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning, looking at Agua from the second floor.”
9 Calle Oriente, 19 Antigua, Guatemala 01003, Guatemala
“Awesome staff, beautiful clean rooms, and super comfortable beds. Other than the fireworks during the month of December, it was very quiet. We had a baby and they provided a crib with bedding that was perfect. The (included) breakfast on the terrace is incredible! We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Antigua.”
R7G2+4GV, Lívingston, Guatemala
“Very nice hotel, I recommend it. It is upscale and clean with a beautiful view. The pool is very nice and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant has a view with good selection of food. The only issue we had was getting a double, queen or king size bed. Not sure if it was my mistake or just not clear in the reservation.”
El Jaibalito, Accessible only by boat or on foot/Accesible solamente por lancha ó a pie, Jaibalito, Guatemala
“Stumbled across La Casa del Mundo 5 years ago while backpacking Central America, and at the time I told myself I'd be coming back for my honeymoon assuming I get married. ||That day came, and we book at Casa del Mundo for four nights along …”
Calle del Embarcadero Zona 2 Panajachel, Solola 07010, Guatemala
“Very nice place and a great setting - staff were okay and they need to do a better job cleaning the bathrooms in the cabin area - only reason it gets 4/5 stars. Restaurant/bar was good and the prices were reasonable. Cabins were really nice and a great choice for a private room. Overall, one of the best places to stay near the lake.”
2 Calle 20-23, Cdad. de Guatemala 01015, Guatemala
“The service was horrible. Our order took quite a long time and to make matters worse, not all our plates and sides were brought out the same time. To get our checks, it took approximately 30 minutes. As for my food. A Lomito cooked 3/4 was not good at all. Some of the steak was rare'ish and extremely rubbery and cutting it with my knife proved to be a challenge. Nice place but food and service was not good at all.”
Bulevar Principal 16-43 de, Cdad. de Guatemala 01057, Guatemala
“Food is great. This is our family's preferred restaurant for Chinese cuisine in Guatemala”
Km. 21.8 Aldea El Pumpo Monterrico, Taxisco 06009, Guatemala
“Good but it did not exceed my expectations, now there are better options in the area, this hotel will definitely move to my second option, we arrived and they offered us queen beds but in reality they were double size, the service was neither good nor bad, we ordered pina coladas and to our apparently they were bad and expensive”
Aldea de la Corvina, Chiquimulilla , Santa, Monterrico 60111, 60111, Guatemala
“Absolutely breathtaking cozy cabanas and amenities like the Infiniti pool, kiddie pool & beach bar. I stopped by for a few drinks and it was very peaceful on a Wednesday, so I’m assuming it gets really pumping on the weekends. I gotta say that as beautiful as it was I’d still prefer to rent a whole secluded beach house like Villa Nonna located in El Concaste just 36 min away from here where we ultimately chose.”
