“Unbelievable service down to every little detail — they think of everything. We celebrated our daughter’s 5th birthday here and were blown away by the effort they put into making it special, with handmade decorations, a video compilation with pics from our stay, and invites that they made for her to hand out to the other children. That’s just one example of several. And everything is thoughtfully eco-friendly too, using recycled materials in the kids club (the Eco Den) and minimizing the footprint whenever possible…which leads me to my only caveat, which is that the rooms are all made from bamboo and wood and very beautiful but a bit rickety, which would be no problem for adults but gave us slight concern with small children. It just meant that we had to be extra vigilant accompanying them around the property, but a small price to pay for truly exceptional hospitality in a fantastic location with amazing food and activities. It’s a very special spot.”

“The stay was good. It’s a real hide out so if you seek that then it’s the perfect location. It’s 2km from the nearest road, stores and restaurants so you either have to walk or rent a scooter. The road leading up to the hotel is rough and I wouldn’t walk there in the dark alone. The rooms are good - the bed is comfortable (if you like a hard mattress), it has enough light. The sink is outside the toilet. There is no storage space for your bags or to unpack. There are enough electric sockets. The fridge is full with water, snacks and soda and is free for grabs. The fridge is quite loud. The AC was quiet and very good. You need to get used to the amount of insects and geckos outside (and sometimes inside) your room (they do like to talk :)). The staff is amazing, very friendly and attentive. The pool is nice. The restaurant is okay- some dishes are very good; some are very bland. It’s around 100 baths more expensive for anything you buy at the hotel when compared to street prices. Fresh coconut was 120, and 2km further it’s 50. The beach is nice, but very rocky so it can be difficult to enter. There are free kayaks and paddle boards. They offer massages, but it was not the best experience. It takes place at the beach, so you have to strip down naked in front of people, and everyone can walk around. 800 bat for oil massage is pretty high. The massage was okay but you could feel that they were rushing it. Overall, a good stay but it was a bit too “hideout” for me - would love to have more options closer rather than relay on the restaurant or walk 30 min in the heat.”

“Very warm and welcoming stuff. Booked for 2 nights first but stayed for 10 because we enjoyed this place so much. The restaurant is open all day and you can rent a scooter for a good price. We loved all the different animals there (cats, dogs, geckos,…) and it was a vibe to life in the jungle. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“I appreciated the fine details of the rooms such as central air and central water heater. It must have been built with great intent. Needs quite a bit of renovation but I’m giving it a 5 star here because it’s rated a 2 star hotel but I feel it was made to be a 4 star. For the current price because of the repairs needed (most likely due to the Covid), I feel I got more value than what I paid. I had an amazing experience and the staff were friendly and helpful.”

“One of the best resorts we've been to. The huts are spacious enough, clean with comfy bed, A/C and a fan. There's a pool, restaurant, bike rental to get around, beach and a pier where you can chill and watch the sunrise. The place is family friendly and quiet for a good value. Puu the receptionist is very kind and helpful!!! Highly recommend!!”
