“What a wonderful experience from start to finish. They will pick you up (and drop you off) at Shiroishi or Shiroishizao stations to begin your stay. You’re taken to a secluded area in the top of a hill that has a very relaxed ambiance. You’re greeted with smiles and are given a welcome drink, then asked a few questions about your stay. They show you around the inn and take you to your room, explaining how everything works. The service is fantastic. There are two baths to choose from, one that has healing properties in the water and the other that is outside. Both were great. Then there’s the food, which was served expertly and with great care. Everything was delicious…from the sashimi to the beef to the crème brûlée to the breakfast. The rooms and other amenities are super nice too. I highly, highly recommend checking this place out. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I want to go on and on about how good our experience was, but I don't want it to get so busy I can't get another reservation. We stayed 2 nights. The 2 best nights anywhere. We practically had the whole place to ourselves. One tip, somehow drive to the resort in a car. The bus will get you close, and our bus driver did suggest he drop us off after passing the resort. Downhill walk instead of uphill. That was super thoughtful of him. The bus will not stop at the resort or pick up. Short walk for the most part either way. The entire staff were very good at their jobs. Wow unbelievable how well we were treated. The site in the evenings was almost magical, with the lighting casting shadows from the trees. The Hot Springs were amazing. We tried everyone of them. Don't forget to go to the sauna building where the nice lady will help you with an ice cold beer. We had a great time. So much so, I'm not sure I even want to try any other Onsen. I felt at home here and can't wait to go back. Thanks again for making our time there the BEST!”

“Ramen that seems to use chashu sauce for the noodle sauce is commonly known as Tsunoda Black, and the soup is black. However, the salt content is not too strong, and the soup is full of flavor, which goes well with the straight medium-thick noodles. The char siew is thigh meat, perfectly firm and delicious. The fried rice is delicious, but the amount is just right for sharing between 2 or 3 people. It's always crowded no matter when you go, but you don't have to wait that long.”

“Great ski resort to learn. The snowboard school is particularly good. Discounts for foreigners in lift tickets and a webpage where you can webcams so you know the conditions before you leave. There is a bus from Sendai station but having a car is definitely recommended. Decent restaurant and there is also a place where you can bring your own food. Family friendly with kids park and mostly easy slopes. Begginners can ask lift operators to slow them down to get on an off, just raise your hand.”

“Room was nice, clean and tidy. There is also a convenient shop downstairs next to the entrance within the building itself. No issues on the ambience and vibes. They do have a washing machine facility too if you plan to stay longer and decide to do a bit of laundry. The only bad memory I had was having my JRPASS missing somewhere within the vicinity of the hotel. But that's just me and I'd gladly take the blame for that. Overall, thumbs up.”
