“Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay boasts some of the clearest waters in Bodrum and spans a vast area. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are well-trained, helpful, and courteous. However, the front office could be a tad friendlier. The ambiance of the hotel feels quite somber; with lights off throughout the day, it gets eerily dark and silent at night. The absence of music or any lively activity makes it feel dull, especially around the pool and restaurant areas. It seems like the hotel is cutting costs, evident from the sparse staff and lack of activities. If you're looking for a quiet swim, it's perfect. But if you're after a lively atmosphere, this might not be the place. The beach is undeniably beautiful, and the food, though a bit pricey, is of good quality. However, the rooms feel dated, and we even encountered a spider in ours.”
