“This has become one of our favorite stops when we do road trips. The location is amazing-anything you could need is literally steps away. The rooms are very comfortable and always clean without smelling like cleaning chemicals. Parking is so easy-they have free valet, but also a HUGE, free, safe lot right out front. It’s pet friendly and they never miss on this when you tell them you’re bringing them along (bowls ready in the room with a free treat and bottled water, pup always greeted). There’s coffee in the room and the lobby and a table in the room with fun, for purchase snacks. It’s the staff, though, that makes this place so great and easy. They are always available, kind, patient…and we are dumbfounded as to how this is always the case here as it’s not anywhere else. One of the times we stayed our room faced the street by a church and we were worried about the noise Sunday for our newer rescue pup-they immediately switched our room and were so sweet about it. Yes, it’s industrial (it’s the vibe), yes it has a scent in the common areas (not in the rooms and the scent is never overbearing), would the lighting maybe be trickier or you’re a late Xer and up? Maybe? But we love the set up and not every style choice is for everyone that's why so many hotels exist, but THIS place is amazing all around in our opinion. Special thanks to Oralia and Olivia. “Great staff, service and atmosphere exemplified the Irish spirit in the heart of Notre Dame. The lobby is warm and inviting, and the guest rooms are in the process of a delightful refresh. Rohr’s restaurant and Cafe J for coffee or a snack are equally inviting and delicious. Loved seeing students studying throughout the lobby.”

“We stay here often and always enjoy the atmosphere and quality that comes with Embassy. The rooms are always clean and maintained. The restaurant/bar is also top notch. Great food with even better portions. The bartender, Jason, always makes us laugh and ensures that our drinks are never empty. Definitely recommend staying here!”

“We had a nice stay at this hotel over the weekend. We picked this location due to having the restaurant inside & it was a great choice, the food was yummy and the service was great. Football was on all weekend without having to ask. Rooms were clean and safe. Biggest qualm is they only had 1 elevator running the entire weekend and there was a big conference being hosted in addition to a colts home game (front desk said it was sold out) - so sometimes it took awhile to get around. I climbed 5 flights of stairs more than once, so something to keep in mind if you rely on elevators. Overall I recommend this hotel.”

“The rooms were comfortable although the AC was noisy. Without a car, it was not possible to eat anywhere other than the hotel. I was only there for 3 nights. Much longer, and I would have exhausted the menu. The service was excellent whether the front desk, the restaurant, the bar, or the shuttle.”

“We stayed here when the Browns were in town and were absolutely blown away with how trendy the rooms were for the price. Absolutely loved the high ceilings and brick. Super large rooms with plenty of space, worked great for our family (we have a 4 and 10 year old, so room to play is so appreciated). The pool could have been warmer, but that's my only criticism. The location to the stadium was great. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.”

“CLEAN ROOMS! After several disappointing and dirty hotel stays in the past couple of years I am happy to say that this hotel was a big relief after a long day of driving. Clean facility, clean room, clean bathroom, and fresh bedding! We got a great night of sleep, had a good breakfast, and got back on the road. Could not be happier with our experience!”

“We checked in late after a long travel day. The lady on reception was friendly enough and checked us in quickly. We went to the lift to our room and it was filthy. She did make us aware that renovations were going on so there would be noise from early morning until 6pm. When we arrived to our room the corridor carpet was also dirty and there was a strong smell of dust and paint. We were exhausted so stayed the night but checked out the following day. We were supposed to be there for 5 nights. May just have been unlucky timing but staff were nice. We were visiting Jasper for a friends wedding. We knew all hotels would be basic but I wanted it to be at least clean. The dust hanging off the sprinkler in the bedroom was disgusting. I be harsh as we do not normally stay in this type of accommodation. I will say they did refund us for the other nights we did not stay and hasn’t put me off using the Hilton group in the future. I suspect the dust is due to the renovations”

“We had a great time in Wabash and we really enjoyed our stay at the Charley Creek Inn. We were looking for a short weekend getaway and had heard good reports about the Charley Creek Inn and Wabash. The hotel and the town did not disappoint! Check out the hotel. Go see a show at the Honeywell Center or the Eagles Theater. You won't be disappointed. The hotel and the town of Wabash belong in the "hidden gems" category.”
