Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

Marriott Vacation Club, 2249 Poipu Rd, Koloa, HI 96756, United States

“Best beaches ever! Every day, I saw either sea turtles or seals. Service was pretty dang good. 👌 I stayed there for two weeks, worry-free, knowing that the very friendly staff would take care of my every need. Recommend staying here.”

Kaanapali Alii Resort
4.7
( 8 reviews )

50 Nohea Kai Dr, Lahaina, HI 96761, United States

“I got a giant room so 5 people could stay and it was amazing. I bet some other hotels nearby could have been a little better but we needed a big room. The pool was really nice but as I said some other hotels had a bigger pool. And it was right next to all the stores and stuff and the beach.”

Waipouli Beach Resort
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

4-820 Kuhio Hwy Suite 1, Kapaʻa, HI 96746, United States

“Very nice resort. Pool was excellent and loved that there were three hot tubs and that they all had sand at the bottom. Also liked the free beach chairs even though the beach is not really useful for swimming or snorkeling. It still was nice for watching the sunrise and relaxing to the sound of waves coming in.”

Hotel Wailea, Relais & Chateaux
4.8
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

555 Kaukahi St, Wailea, HI 96753, United States

“An amazing experience. The suites were well furnished, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Don't forget the amazing shower and soaker tub. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. It's an adult only resort, which made the atmosphere more relaxed. The resort isn't cheap, but neither is the experience. 👍”

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kohala Suites Waikoloa
4.6
( 8 reviews )

69-550 Waikōloa Beach Dr, Waikoloa Village, HI 96738, United States

“Many reasons for my ratings 1. When I called about a crib for my infant I could not get an answer if there was one available. It seems like an easy math problem to me, since all you have to do is calculate the number of cribs vs the number of people requesting. I was told it was first come first serve, which again doesn’t help since I need to know if I should bring one with me on the plane or if that is one less thing I would need to bring for my family of 5. It’s about convenience and customer service. Also, it’s not peak season so it shouldn’t have been that hard when we asked. 2. In the room there were cockroaches and wine glasses with lipstick stains on them, might as well toss those since you can’t get it out and it’s just a bad look. There was also no dish soap to wash the dishes. 3. When booking this reservation, when checking in and during our marketing tour, I specifically asked if we would have access to the pools of all the different Hilton properties around since we were staying at one and of course I was told yes. After packing up my three children and our pool equipment and driving over to Kingsland we were then rejected and told we were given wrong information. I have a 7, 5 and 1 year old so I’m sure you can imagine my disappointment to find that out. It takes a lot of work to even travel 5 minutes down the road with all of them let alone with our pool gear! As a courtesy it would have been beneficial to just let us enjoy the couple hours there, but instead we were told we had no access. 4. At the pool when requesting towels for our family. We were told that we are supposed to receive them at check in, which we didn’t and that we need to request the from our room, so even though we have our room key and our information we had to go back to the room, request the towels, wait 20-30 minutes and then be given our towels that were already at the front desk which was connected to the pool. I’m sorry, what kind of game are we playing here? I’m already at the pool, just look up our info and give me our towels! It just seems to me that the staff are very good about telling you what they think you want to hear vs what I actually want to hear, which is the truth. I have three kids and we love going on these trips and having the space, but I need accurate information so I’m not shuffling them around and wasting our time for no reason. If we do buy a timeshare it most likely wont be with Hilton because of this experience on this trip. It was inconvenient and lacked good customer service. If the tour was more about truth then I could have invested our time and money into it for our future vacations. Overall the location and space of the rooms and the whole suit are great and needed for our family, we loved the pool and water slide at Kohala and the views and lagoon at Hilton Waikoloa Village, but I’d most likely find another company that will be honest with me and give me the information needed to make my life easier instead of causing more issues.”

Waimea Plantation Cottages
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 03:00 PM

9400 Kaumualii Hwy, Waimea, HI 96796, United States

“Could not have picked a better place to stay for our honeymoon! Got the Ocean Front cottage, and it was absolutely perfect. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves, woke up to the sound of the birds, and no other noises the entire time! So peaceful and intimate. We preferred this very much so to any of the condos or hotels in the more touristy areas. The interior of the cottage was nothing fancy, but it was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Felt very authentic for the locale. The staff was super friendly, too; and it was a short drive into town for breakfast and tasty coffee in the mornings. 10/10.”

The Bay Club, A Hilton Grand Vacations Club
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

69-450 Waikōloa Beach Dr, Waikoloa Village, HI 96738, United States

“We come here every year, but this time around it feels like some of the rooms are falling into disrepair. We had a "newly remodeled" room, but all they have done is put in new flooring and new couch and dining chairs. Everything else has been left the same. We also found things were missing in the kitchen such as pans, bowls and silverware. We only had two of four teaspoons, so we had to wash every time we ate. We had a broken screen door, broken ceiling fan, and grout in the shower that needed serious attention. The grounds are immaculate and the staff friendly and accommodating, but they need to pay attention to what's going on inside.”

Vlve Hotel Waikiki
4.5
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

2426 Kūhiō Ave., Honolulu, HI 96815, United States

“Absolutely wonderful experience. Breakfast was the best part of the trip. Delicious fresh breakfast every AM. 2 blocks from beach. Loved that the beach rental room was open to come and go as you please and you don’t have to check items out at the front desk. Hotel was very clean and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a tiny bit small but not an issue for two people. Highly recommend.”

Kona Joe Coffee Llc
4.6
( 8 reviews )

79-7346 Mamalahoa Hwy, Kealakekua, HI 96750, United States

“Me and my family did the facility tour and not only was the experience amazing but so we’re the staff. The process they go through to make such high quality products for us is fantastic. The manager and our tour guide were extremely welcoming and made sure we had a great time during our visit. The coffee and bakery treats were delicious and i can’t wait to brew some of my own.”

Marriott's Kauai Lagoons - Kalanipu'u
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

Marriott Vacation Club, 3325 Holokawelu Wy, Lihue, HI 96766, United States

“Awesome views, the landscaping is spectacular, the rooms (we had a 2 BR) are big and clean. We had a view of the pool and the bay which was stunning. This is a calm and relaxing resort in a secluded area of the Island surrounded by a golf course, the bay, lagoons another Marriott resort and, oh yeah the Airport. Even though the place is near the airport, it is not a very active airport so it really isn't an issue. The staff is great as well. The one thing this is NOT is a beach resort. They do have beach chairs available to take to other beaches but there is no beach here. Since it is a Hawaiian resort you might assume there is a beach. There is no beach. However, knowing that going in you can find other beautiful beaches on the island. You are allowed to use the beach at the other Marriott resort down the street, but since this fair skinned Irish lad needs shade, without an umbrella, this was not an option for us. Also, there is no restaurant or bar on premises. This is not that uncommon for Marriott Vacation locations. We have stayed in two other locations that were also sans bar and restaurant, Tucson Arizona and Absecon NJ, but still it would be nice to have a pool bar. Not sure why they don't, as there is plenty of room for one. All-in-all, if you set your expectations based on what this place does NOT have, it really is a lovely place. Very lovely, in fact.”
