“This was the best Austrian experience we could have ever asked for. We came in hoping to find a last minute table on a Saturday (try to reserve ahead if you can - this place is popular!) and they initially apologized and said that they didn’t have any more tables available. That’s when Stefan (the owner - far right in the image) walked up and found us a space to eat and enjoy the evening - and boy did we!! We ended up being the last guests there - drinking Schnaps and singing along with the locals to music from all over the world at the big Stammtisch. The food was excellent - traditional and amazing. But above all, The people at this restaurant are so welcoming and they gave us a once in a lifetime experience. We couldn’t stop Smiling and we couldn’t be more grateful. “Very nice and accommodating hotel. We stayed here for a weekend trip to going Skiing and will be back for sure. The Ski lift is literally a 3 minute walk away and even when the weather isn’t great to go up the mountains the hotel got you covered: welcoming staff, a great Spa and the food make this place a little gem. I’d like to double down on the food aspect in particular: from Breakfast to Dinner everything has high quality, offers a broad selection (including vegan 🌱choices) and is presented well. Highly recommended!”

“I was here for dinner with a group, best place in Dornbirn. I tried the Asparagus Risotto and it was awesome. I normally like the chili flakes in my risotto so I asked for them - I was given chili oil instead and it was super hot 😅😅. I had to order an ice cream to cool off I went with Chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and it was a BOMB ❤️. This place is a must visit!”

“An extraordinary hotel! Beautifully decorated spacious rooms, perfect food, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and then: the view! Looking over Bodensee, watching the sun set is something to remember for a lifetime! Massage treatments also were extremely fine! Hikes on Pfänder mountain start directly from the hotel, to the beach in Lochau it's a 5 minutes car ride. Fritsch am Berg is a splendid place to relax and enjoy!”

“The hotel is simply amazing and upholds high standards. The rooms are extremely comfortable, complete with a double bed, shower, and balcony. However, it may take a little time to figure out how to operate the lights. Unfortunately, there is no kettle in the room, which can be inconvenient. If you are travelling from the UK, it may be worth brushing up on your German, as the staff's English language skills are limited. This language barrier can be frustrating when trying to communicate. The hotel is located a 27-minute walk away from Bregenz. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I might consider returning in the future.”

“I came here several nights while staying nearby for the summer and found it to be the best and most welcoming place in the Montafon. I did not stay in the rooms but visited the restaurant/bar. Gabriel and Johannes (the bartenders) were the most hospitable and friendly people I met my entire summer in Schruns. They were always helpful with coming up with drinks I would like and making me feel comfortable. I loved the live music on Tuesdays and Fridays. This was my go to spot and it should be yours too! Great environment with the best staff!”
