“Great experience staying at this resort hotel. Rooms are good. Clean, well-maintained and big bathroom. My only criticism is that a west-facing room with have difficulty staying cool (by American standards) during the day and will struggle to adjust at night. I understand that’s a personal preference, but it did mildly affect our stay. Service was great at the front desk and there were very helpful people assisting with taxis and deliveries. My only criticism here is that there was really no pool-side service and also the lunch service was fairly slow. Neither of these things affected our stay too much, but it’s something we noticed for a hotel this expensive. The location is good but some things to know…it takes between 30-60 minutes (depending on time of day) to get just about anywhere touristy you might want to go. However, many of the resorts in this price bracket are further from the tourist “hustle” so that seems a common issue. So just plan your days accordingly and it’s not a big deal. There is not much walkable in the area surrounding the hotel although there are two very tasty restaurants within a 5 minute car ride. Overall, the resort itself including fitness center, spa, and restaurants is fabulous and luxurious. It’s also quite a unique kind of property and architecture. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“Easily the nicest beachfront hotel on Kamala beach. We loved taking morning walks with coffee along the shore. We paid to upgrade to a pool access room and I’m very glad we did as it made using the pool a lot easier. When our flight got delayed, the reception team worked hard to arrange a later check out for us despite being fully booked. They could have just said no and kicked us out onto the street. I am so incredibly thankful they were willing to help.”

“We went to the Keemala for our honeymoon. We had a phenomenal experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - Tony looked after us and made sure we had a special stay and helped us with reservations and activities. He was super responsive and friendly. The breakfast is tip top, the pool is beautiful and the rooms were really special. We were sad to leave but really hope to return soon!”

“Spent a week here around new years, the staff are so lovely and are always happy to help. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The restaurant had both western and Thai options and breakfast was delicious and had everything one could want. The best part of all is the perfect location as it is directly on top of the beach and provides lots of nice places to lie on the beach or next to the pools, also the beach was not busy at all. Would recommend staying here!”

“Great place and decent location half way between Bang Tao beach and Boat Avenue. The complementary shuttle service to both areas is AWESOME and is, in our opinion, a must. The road is very busy to walk on with no pavements. Hotel good overall...a few little things probably ensure this is still 4 star than 5 hotel: On arrival we were given only one room key and informed that we will need to pay a penalty if we lost it.... ? Also during check in, having to pay 1000Baht/night security deposit and then having to wait 10 minutes at checkout until housekeeping check the room was not damaged in any way...? All very odd and not very trusting. We are 2 adults + 1 kid what exactly do they think we will do... Housekeeping: only one toilet roll per day (we ran out twice in two days)...shampoo and shower gel not replenished daily or quantity increased to take account of room occupancy. Other than that, daughter loved the pool, we loved the cocktails and the staff really friendly. Food lovely. Onsite restaurant quite expensive ...especially breakfast. Cheaper and better F&B options at the beach or nearby. Would stay again”

“Pros: - Staff. Very helpful at the reception and helped with booking nearby attractions. The room cleaning was very good and the staff helped with moving the heavy suitcases. - Room was very pleasant and include a private balcony with a bathtub, drying rack and beautiful view. Bathroom was very modern and the bed was comfortable. - Amenities were nice including free paddle boarding and kayaking during high-tide. It is nice as the beach is not very busy. - Value. For the price, the resort is amazing. There is also very affordable food at the restaurant adjacent. If you are on a very tight budget you can order food via grab delivery. Cons: - The sink only had one tap with no hot water. This is unpleasant for shaving. - Hand soap has a very very strong banana scent. Perhaps due to the name 'blu monkey' however it was a little unpleasant. - The resort is very far away from everything else of the island. It is far from the airport and other tourist attractions, leading to longer travel times and more expensive transport. We also had difficulty getting transportation to/from the resort as grab, indrive and bolt were unreliable however this may be attributable to the islands taxi-mafia and not the fault of the resort.”

“Location 5/5 Absolutely beautiful resort on one of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever seen. Very secluded, quiet and private. Room 4/5 Stayed in ocean front suite #345. It was very spacious with a large private patio and an amazing view. My only criticism is the bed was very firm (which was solved by adding a topper from the sleep menu) and the pillows were very soft and flat. I tried the other pillow options and in the 3rd night finally found something that worked. Maybe it's just me but I found the initial setup very uncomfortable, which is odd since I've not had this issue in other nice hotels. Food 4/5 The breakfast buffet was very good with a big variety of choices. We tried all the other restaurants and the food and service were very good. And the food manager Poo was lovely. My only callout is that the drinks were a bit weak (I doubt there was a full shot). Service 5/5 Excellent service, very attentive and helpful. The management goes out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. We couldn't have asked for more.”

“We stayed for seven days, and overall would enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and modern. The pool was clean and clear. The service was amazing. Our fridge was broken and two hours later, they brought in a new one. Also, there is two soda cans, two waters and a small milk that are free. There is complementary transport to and from the hotel to Patong Beach (every two hours, between 10:00 and 20:00). Personal shout out to Natty, who went above and beyond. She performed first-aid and even recommended a 24/7 doctor for us.”

“Pool is family friendly and has wonderful kid slides. Walk to beach is short and pretty clean. Restaurant and buffet is not good, but whole area lacks good restaurants. The only super convenient thing is it is easy to enter hotel ne in tourist pickup location apps. Neighborhood and most of hotel is exclusively Russians. You will be lucky to hear any Thai staying here.”

“We stayed for 2 nights at Spa & Pool Penthouse. The building is so big (more than enough for 2 persons) and have a spa room. So you don’t have to walk your way to the central area in order to get spa or massage services. Room is great and staffs are very kind and friendly. Foods are also great! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take some private castaways and relax. You could spend a whole week easily here.”
