Without any doubts the location is one of the highlights. “Perfect location if you want to walk around downtown Hamburg. Close to everything that is there to see! Rooms are nice and bug with charm. Breakfast is OK, would probably skip ot and eat something from one of the local bakeries. Loved the small sitting area at the reception. Service 24/7. Free little dining buffet in the evening, beer and wine available. Would definitely book again!”

“Edit Sept. 2023: I visited this campground end of August 2017 and now I got a letter from their lawyer threatening to remove my 3/5 star rating due to “personal rights” even though my original posting had no text. Make of that what you will but I will change my rating to 1/5 since I think it’s shady to want to remove “bad” ratings (3/5 isn’t bad btw). For the actual rating of 3/5: from what I remember: location is ok, staff was nice at the front desk but the pads are really small and tiny, especially given the price. As expected noise level isn’t very quiet.”

“We spent 3 nights in this hotel and for the price and location it is difficult to beat. It's 4 minutes away from bus lines 2 and 3 which go in the city center and ~10 minutes from the S1 that goes to the airport. Our room was colorful and joyful. It was relatively well cleaned and quiet. There are facilities such as a ping pong table and several working/chill areas that are cool. We tried the breakfast (16 euros) but were left disappointed. Overall we appreciated our stay. The price is good and the staff helpful when you need them.”

“I had an amazing week here after an intense nose operation. Everyone looked after me so well and I could not have imagined a better place. I even got lucky and after half the time was upgraded to a river-view room because of construction work. Now this experience I can only recommend! It‘s a bit like being on a ship. You watch the life on the river and it has something so calming and vibrant. Thanks to all the wonderful staff - I will miss you! See you next time!”

The hotel sauna was a pleasurable experience to warm up in the evenings. With the highlight of our new year getaway this charming and amazing boutique hotel. Fantastic service. Super delicious new year's eve menu with super attentive staff. The breakfast was also super delicious with a large selection from the buffet, including special requests to have cooked oat porridge.
