“We travel between Iowa and Texas a few times a year and have tried many hotels in Wichita as a halfway point. We discovered Homewood Suites earlier this year and it is our favorite. The front desk staff is so friendly my kids asked how they knew us and when we became so important. Shout out to Anna for her interactions with them. The hotel is very clean and well appointed, and has extras that our traveling family appreciates. We have used the putting green, basketball court, pool, hot tub, and enjoyed the outdoor patio overlooking the pond. Breakfast has more hot options than you see at a standard hotel breakfast. We also love that it's close to I-35 and within walking distance to restaurants. It's our new favorite place to stay!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Cedar Crest Lodge! The land is beautiful, the rooms are clean and prestige and the staff is above and beyond. They put thought into every single detail. We’ve never been so relaxed or taken care of. The spa was amazing, and the massage and facial were top notch! We loved walking the wooded trails, relaxing in the hot tub and using the sauna. Every single meal was SO good — chef approved! We can’t wait to visit here again and again :)”

“We ended up at this hotel by chance booking on a website that randomly assigns hotels. It was FANTASTIC. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are clean, amenities are great. I didn’t hear any sounds from other guests the entire 4 day stay, while we were in our room. The breakfast had gluten and dairy free options, with oat milk along with the dairy milk. Nice touches to not make having dietary restrictions such a hassle when travelling. Everything was fresh, hot. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.”

“Stayed there for work. NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!!! The parking garage is a joke! You have to pay $7. THERE'S NO CONNECTION TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL. The room was nice and clean. I loved the shower! Not really sure about staying in downtown Topeka at night but it was okay. I did not feel completely safe but it was doable. The hotel employees weren't very helpful with our questions.”

“1st time staying at this hotel. We were able to check in early. When we got to our room, we discovered the TV was not properly working. Broc, at the front desk, came right up and tried to fix it, called maintenance and when it could not be fixed, he promptly moved us into a different room on the 1st floor. His customer service was impeccable! The hotel was beautiful, clean and comfortable! I would recommend staying here!”

“Great price. Room was clean. Bathroom had needed toiletries. Gym was basic, but had all the necessary equipment. Breakfast was more than expected with omelets, waffles, pastries and sausage, juices and coffee. There are also a variety of items you can purchase if you need a snack or forgot anything. “I think this has to be one of the best, if not, the VERY best hotel in Salina. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. My favorite part of the room would have to be the bathroom because I was provided with shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. I GREATLY appreciate that because I forgot to pack my own. There was also an EXTREMELY fresh smell all throughout the property. The front desk personnel were friendly, helpful and pleasant to chat with. It’s located on the sound end of town, and is close to pretty much everything. I’m also glad that my room was on the backside of the building, because I didn’t have to deal with too much in the way of hearing traffic. I will more than likely stay here again if/when I’m in Salina.”
