“Stayed here for two nights while cleaning out my father’s house. The two-room suite was just what we needed and was exceedingly comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and polite, going above-and-beyond to help us with some special requests. The extra assistance made the difficult task we were in town to do much easier. We especially appreciated the great breakfast with extensive options and the bartender at the evening reception. A great choice for staying in this part of Oklahoma City.”

“Stayed my second time at this very nice new hotel, while participating at the Vinyl Record Show in their conference center. The convenience of doing check-in, through the app , as well as using my phone as room key, really streamlined of my experience and saved valuable time. I actually never once went to the front desk on this visit, and was able to check out without having to leave my booth at the show. I did meet some of the staff who came to my booth, including Taylor from the front desk. They were very nice and helpful. I look forward to my next stay there!”

“I come to Shangri-la often to dine and enjoy the resort. Everytime I’ve been here the service has been hideous in both Docs restaurant and the anchor club house as well as Eddie’s dockside grill. The staff is rude and not customer oriented at all. The food is no better than the service, for being an upscale resort with premium prices customers should expect good service and food. I’d highly recommend replacing some staff or doing some serious retraining. I’m not one to usually complain but this is too bad to let go without some kind of feedback.”

“Diamond Stone / Diamondhead Resort was the worst experience I have ever had! First the owner told us the price and we were good with it then when we got there they told us a whole different price $300 more then what the owner originally told us and that wasn’t including floating with them. Then the owner was rude with us because we were confronting her that she told us two different prices. Well it was the beginning of our vacation so we didn’t let it bother us. Well then around 5:30p.m. today they told us they were closing the park down because they are selling it that we needed to leave asap. We were pissed cause not only did we pay for tonight we also got kicked out. When I say we got kicked out I am not over reacting. Around 7 p.m. we were almost done getting out the owner went to our campsite, cussed out my dad and kept stepping towards him in his face and the security guard kept trying to push her away from my dad, and she kept going towards him, then called the police saying that we threatened her. While the police were on their way she kept cussing him out. While my 5 year old cousin was in the truck and could hear everything and he is to the point where he repeats everything. Four police officers came ,one more came after that video. Waiting for us to leave. Diamond Stone /Diamondhead Resort is not family friendly nor would I recommend them to my enemies.”

“So I've been coming here for years, and never get tired of Lake Murray. The views are beautiful, the park is incredibly well maintained, and there's no shortage of things to try or do. The lodge staff is knowledgeable, and friendly, and the lodge master has been here for years, and you can tell he's passionate about maintaining the quality of this place! It's extremely clean, and every event I've been here for has gone very smoothly, with meticulous attention given to every detail. The rooms are gorgeous, and have views to match! And most if not all of the rooms within the lodge have a balcony that opens directly to a lakefront view. I challenge anyone to come here and not feel just at least a little bit more relaxed and at peace.”

“Traveling here for work, honestly one of the worst experiences I have had was with this hotel. Originally stayed here for 10 days, tried to extend our stay we were told we weren’t able to since all the 1 King Bed, 1 bedrooms were all booked up. Once they had availability we tried coming back for our remaining 30+ days. A week before coming back here we got an email confirming the 1 king bed with the 1 bedroom, the day before check in I was able to pick our room. Day of check in we get there and, without notifying me, they changed our room because some higher up for the hotel chain decided to extend their stay in the 1 king bed, 1 bedroom. The GM changed our room to just a small room to accommodate their superior. To top it off, the superior was supposed to leave the next day but they wouldn’t guarantee our room after they left because they wanted to leave it open in case they wanted to extend again. We couldn’t stay in the smaller room because we have a baby with us and my husband works from home.. We do not recommend staying here unless you’re 100% flexible with your plans. The biggest disappointment is that we were not notified so we could’ve made other arrangements before packing up and coming over, and they charged us when we couldn’t stay there after being bumped.”

“I booked 2 queens with a pull out couch. When I arrived the front desk attendant was nice. So we proceeded to check in and she said the deposit is just $20 which was nice and swiped my card and she said the total 240 okay that’s what I paid for the 3rd party Priceline so headed to the room and looked at my bank account and it was double charged 1 for the Priceline and 2 for the hotel which she apologized and said she cancelled it but didn’t. The room was nice and the pool was nice as well. As I check out I only stayed 2 nights and was almost charged for 3 nights ALWAYS CHECK OUT and that was 370… so just watch this hotel! I called spoke to a manager and she said she would refund the money and still has not refunded any money.”

“Beautiful location not far from Beavers Bend State Park. The cabin was well-equipped with a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a hot tub. The bed was a little high off the floor, but it was comfortable. We stayed in a dog-friendly cabin. The only drawback was a lack of a run or fenced area for the dogs.”

I want to give a resounding 10 out of 10 for the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. It was truly remarkable, unlike anything I have ever seen or heard of before. It is evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. Overall, my experience at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!”
