Restaurant/bar was good and the prices were reasonable. Cabins were really nice and a great choice for a private room. Overall, one of the best places to stay near the lake.”

“Lush is a truly special place, vibrant, luxurious, where every room has a different spirit. Beside the delicious food in the restaurant and the lovely staff, our room was very comfortable with a stunning view on the lake. I really appreciated the hot water in the shower and the silence around at night. I have not been to a place as good as Lush in San Marcos !”

“This hotel is amazing! It has the most stunning view overlooking the lake, fantastic amenities and lovely staff. Breakfast was delicious - particularly the homemade banana bread! The manager Pablo was incredibly helpful and helped us arrange arrival via helicopter by landing on their helipad which was a very special experience! Would highly recommend this hotel.”

“When we arrived, someone was there to meet us and carry our bags to our room. They upgraded us to a wonderful room with a private balcony and beautiful view of the lake free of charge! Breakfast is included and was excellent. The hotel is so peaceful and quaint with the hotel restaurant cooking delicious meals. We particularly loved petting the two hotel German Shepherds. Can't wait to come back here! Highly recommend :)”

“We had a great two night stay at Laguna. They were very accommodating to our arrival and departure times. A boat to and from Panajachel was included, along with breakfast every morning. The hotel is beautiful along with the views. The staff was very good. We really enjoyed our stay. Food was good, even though vegetarian. A few notes: pool is not heated and the lounge chairs were not great for reading”
