From first check in with Vanessa who was so thoughtful and engaging…to the night auditor Raj (?) offering me a pre-made very early breakfast to go while I awaited the shuttle for my early flight. The room was modern, spotless and so very comfortable. The Marriott Bonvoy experience did not disappoint recognizing my choice in location of room and even the type of pillow! I HIGHLY recommend this Marriott for ease to the airport and true Marriott quality with associates and amenities and surroundings.”

“The staff are friendly. The place is tidy and clean inside and out. The suite is very clean and spacious. Very pet friendly. If I had negatives, the continental breakfast was not stocked up as well as it should have been, they kept running out of items before it was over. Also there is kids nonstop running the halls. We've had to call the front desk several times over this issue. I'll be expecting compensation over this.”

“I stayed for 4 nights this past weekend with my husband and our 3 kids, and was very pleased with everything! The room was clean and comfortable, the food was great, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The highlight was when we went to go swimming an hour before checkout, and it was closed for maintenance. They quickly offered to call the hotel across the parking lot to see if we could use their pool, and we ended up enjoying an hour of swimming. They also had a highchair in the dining room which is rare to see! Definitely recommend!!”

“Hotel was nice. 3 blocks from the parliament. Breakfast buffet is definitely not worth it. $21pp and it's a small step up from a Continental breakfast. I had to ask the front desk 3 times to fix my shower valve. You could only have it either extremely hot or cold. No in-between because the handle was so heavy that if you had it horizontal it would fall because of the weight. I thought they fixed the problem the final time until I went to turn the shower on and the handle totally fell off hitting the floor.”

“Stayed for two nights Oct 2023. I’m not one to leave reviews but I highly recommend! Clean,new,modern and comfortable. Well appointed with a small pool and a very nice well equipped gym. Hot and diverse breakfast in a bright and well lit room. Decent coffee. Friendly staff. Located an easy walk to a plaza with an LCBO, Marshall’s, Costco, thrift store, nail salon etc.”

“Recently stayed here for a one night staycation with my husband as a break from parenting young kiddos. It was amazing! The service was exceptional.We were upgraded to the suite style room- it has two large TVs, two entrances, and two bathrooms. It included a rainfall shower and soaker tub. It felt very restful and spacey. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept the best I have in months. Yay, no child wake ups. The room service for breakfast was delicious and very quick. The location can't be beat steps from Rideau Centre and great market restaurants. I have tried a few trendy and central Ottawa hotels for staycations in the past couple of years. They were all great but this experience was my favourite. I hope to go again soon if we can get the grandparents' support!!”

“Excellent service experience in dealing with the front desk staff (who were very attentive and informative). Location is a quick walk to many major sites of the city. Some hotel atrium noise might be audible depending on which unit you have. Did not have time to try the bistro connected to the hotel but it looked lively at all times of the day.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The check in was fast. The rooms were clean and spacious. The lobby and lounge area had lots of seating and food/snacks were available at the bar area. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast. Upon checking in the evening before (Saturday January 27, 2024 @ 4:00pm), I asked the front desk what hot foods they had for breakfast. They said sausage, bacon, eggs, French toast. When we went for breakfast the next day at 7:15 (breakfast starts at 7:00 and ends at 10:00) they only hot foods they had were scrambled eggs and French toast. When I went to the front desk to ask about the bacon and sausage, the young lady (different person from yesterday) answered that they serve whatever they have until it runs out. I said but it’s only 7:15 and breakfast runs until 10:00….and I added it’s the weekend and should have full breakfast available). She didn’t even bother asking the kitchen staff if and when the sausage and bacon would actually be available. We stayed for breakfast until 8:30 and there was no bacon or sausage to be seen. So we stuck to eating mostly carbs - French toast and syrup, cereal, bread, and eggs (which didn’t seem real).”
