“Salem Cross Inn is definitely a special occasion place. It has a tiny tavern in the basement with a small intimate bar near a cozy fireplace that looks out onto the endless pastures & wildflower gardens. Evan always checks in to make sure you’re taken care of. Tyler & Heather the bartenders are extremely hospitable & always remember you. They have a lovely ever changing specials menu along with their standard options that are difficult enough to pick from as they are all so amazing. The Duck is crispy & decadent , the catfish ( a special ) melted in your mouth accompanied by jalapeño cheddar grits!!! Every dinner comes with their delectable squash muffins ( which are great for breakfast with coffee!). They have an amazing Caesar salad -perfectly dressed. If you are looking for a cozy date night place with attention to detail you will not be disappointed!”

“We had 2 adjoining rooms. The rooms were clean and comfy with lighting that was actually adequate. Nice walk in shower with bright lighting. You do have to be careful though going back and forth through the adjoining bedroom doors. If you don't prop them open with something, you will find that they lock behind you and you have to go out in the hall and enter the next room from the outside. Staff was friendly and helpful. And I liked the fact that if you had enough towels and didn't need your room cleaned, nobody came barging in. I would definitely stay here again.”

He accommodated my requests and even made sure I had a great parking place for a quick and easy unload of my dogs. The room was quiet.”

“We keep going back! Such an awesome place. Started w/cabins. Now kids are older we’re in a camper. It’s always great no matter what you are in…even a tent! Staff is by far the best. The place is always clean and there is so much to do to experience an amazing vacation. Even our dog loves it here with the dog park and dog beach.”

“We got to this hotel and at first it was great. The general manager or manager was working at night was awesome but the next morning when the workers came in, they were berating my kids telling me that my kids can’t be 2 feet away from me and also we got in at 11 o’clock at night. We checked out at 11 and wanted to go in the pool. I was told I could be in the pool all day then a man With a handicap hand or something that works there came and told me I only had an hour so we stayed in the pool for an hour, then gave my children. A shower came out. The guy came out and told me I told you you only had an hour get your kids and you out of here very rude hotel. Don’t bring children there worst hotel I ever been to.”
