“EDIT: I was very disappointed to see a dog at the pool. It had no "service dog" vest. Pets other than service dogs are not allowed on HVC properties. >:( Beautiful facility! Sam and Sandy at the registration area were very efficient and pleasant. Great location, activities every day, fantastic amenities. Our unit, 5284, overlooks the par 3 golf course. Had a bite to eat at The Veranda. Val was so pleasant and the food was delicious.”

“It was our first time staying at West Wind Island Resort. My husband, myself, and our elderly Jack Russell Terrier. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but the room was clean and comfortable. We had a room facing the pool and the glass doors leading out to the patio did a great job of blocking out any noise from the pool and bar area. It was nice and quiet. The check in/ check out processes were easy and fast. The proximity to the beach s perfect. Beautiful clean beach. Although the restaurant on property was closed due to a fire, the food truck food was pretty tasty. The food truck is parked in the back parking lot. You order food from the pool bar and they walk to the food truck to pickup and deliver to you. All in all we were happy with our accommodations and the close proximity to the beach and to restaurants and shops. We would return.”

“Given how difficult it must have been to rebuild after a devastating hurricane in 2022, they have done an incredible job. At times it looks like the only place left standing here on the beach. They soldier on and I really hope they and the area make it. Please consider visiting. The whole place needs us to help rebuild.”

“Just weird. We were on the second floor and periodically heard a loud banging sound, like someone hammering metal. The same sound woke me up about 11:30pm. When I called the front desk he told me that yes, he heard the sound and that it was the dishwasher (maybe he meant a washing machine) banging on a pipe and that other rooms had called to complain. He asked if we wanted to change rooms and I said I just wanted them to turn the machine off. No apologies were made and he seemed annoyed. He thought they were “probably” done running the “dishwasher.” So the hotel employees knew the racket they were making and decided to just make it anyway. At after 11:00pm. This was just the major issue. There were others. Just weird to stay at a Hilton hotel and have this kind of thing. My advice is avoid this particular hotel.”

“Rooms were clean, location was good, service was shotty, mainly due to the fact that they're so-called "concierge" didn't speak English enough to understand that there was smoke on the fourth floor and it smelled like something was burning....toilets did not flush, old and burnt coffee in the lobby. The morning and when I went to check out the girl at the desk was so busy playing on her phone that I had to ask for her attention 3 times before she realized that I was 2 ft from her. This is not a place I would return even though I was informed put the smell and smoke were caused by the welding in the staircase that they were doing...no apology or attempt to remedy the horrible night we spent there...we were told they had no more rooms and could not refund us but that we were welcome to use the bathroom in the lobby.”

“We were visiting from Orlando and had a great stay! Nancy and Joan were amazing at check in and check out. Very warm and accommodating. The rest of the staff were very friendly as well. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the area is quiet so we slept very well. This is a great location because it is close to a lot of restaurants and the malls are not too far away either. We will definitely come back to stay the next time we are in Fort Myers!”
