“I have been staying at The Country Inn for many years. Five years ago, I gave the Inn a 5 out of 5 rating but I have to change my rating. I just returned from a 4 night stay and I was very disappointed in the changes. The warmth and personal attention that we used to see is missing. It felt more like a chain hotel than an inn. Our beds were not made and there was no housekeeping services other than the trash being removed and towels replaced. We were told that we had to request “full housekeeping” to get our bed made or our bathroom cleaned. We did request full service but making a bed and cleaning a bathroom should be automatic. During our stay, there was a sign on the elevator that it was unavailable. However, I saw the staff using the elevator multiple times. It was not broken but it couldn’t be used by guests who had to carry their luggage up and down the stairs.”

“Very cozy NE style hotel. It is conveniently located at a busy part of Camden with tons of little shops, bars, and restaurants. I loved the paintings of the owner’s wife hanging on the walls of the hotel. They were all beautiful. The receptionist was extremely welcoming. Definitely highly recommended place to stay if you plan to be in this part of New England.”

“Stayed here for 3 nights. We had 2 rooms next to each other for 4 guests. The staff was excellent from the front desk to the breakfast area to housekeeping. The room was recently remodeled and was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Our only complaint was a squeaky door going into the bathroom, especially at night. Other than that it was an awesome stay. Just hope it doesn't have any damage from Hurricane Lee.”

What really made the stay memorable was the warm welcome and service from the staff, with a special call out to Kaya and Laura who both just made us feel at home. The breakfast was impressive, and still dreaming of those blueberry pancakes. The Chef, Travis, and his team deliver on exceptional food for both breakfast and dinner. Towels and hooks were too far from shower and one had to drip across the room for them. Parking was across the street and down the hill. Otherwise I loved it and would stay there again.”

Gilbert and Megan on the front desk treated us amazingly kindly. Mike, the bartender ,entertained us for both evenings with his extensive beverage knowledge. Camden Harbor Inn is a gorgeous hotel but it's the staff who make it exceptional. We'll be back”
