“We ate at the "restaurant", with its rustic tables and eclectic chairs. The menu is unassuming and gives no clue to the thrilling flavours of the dishes on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed onion soup, sausage and mash and a burger. All of it was very good quality and extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. The surroundings offer something for everyone of intrigue. Vintage vehicles, trains and cider sheds to name a few.”

“Lovely meal with family, great service and tasty food. One minor issue as a veggie often only offered vegan food. I ordered vegan chilli. Please ask people if they want cheese and sour cream although if I was vegan I'd expect the vegan versions. Plenty of non meat options though so better than most. Will definitely come again. “Just had a lovely relaxing week stay in a chalet. The accommodation was clean and the facilities were more than adequate for a self catering ho. The location is very idyllic and very remote. Luckily myself and my husband love to walk abd explore the local area by foot. Minehead is along the coast path 3miles - nice and flat but alittle uneven underfoot with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Blue anchor is 2 miles in the other direction and also an easy walk along the costal path, a lovely meal at 'The Smugglers Inn' and 'The DriftWood cafe' was delightful. Dunster village is just 1 mile along the road, a slight hill at the end but not too challanging. We ventured to all these destinations by foot for dinner and found Dunster lacking in eatting options in the evening and best to visit during the day. We will definitely back for another stay soon”

“Recently had a meal here to celebrate my 30th, on arrival there was a sign wishing me a happy birthday! (Thought this was a touch of class!) then to be taken to our table where there was a card from the staff to wish a happy birthday!! This was very thoughtful and genuinely very much appreciated. The staff were prompt, kind and very accommodation for myself my wife and my daughter, making us all feel very welcome. The chef (Connor) came out and made such an effort with our daughter that he even made up a plate of broccoli for her … to us this meant so much! Now on to the FOOD!! Nothing shy of incredible! Honestly I would put it down to be one of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Value for money I would say it hits the nail on the head for an all around experience. If I could rate it more than 5 I would!!”
