“Alamanda was absolutely amazing! The staff was amazing, the pools were friendly for everyone. With a spa, a warm pool, a cold pool and even an adults pool! Its location is beyond amazing, being right on the beach. It’s nice and quiet at night, with the slight touch of waves hitting the shore. The massage at the spa was sensational, with friendly staff. I definitely recommend Alamanda, for people of all ages! Thank you for the wonderful experience 🥰🥰”

“Had my mini honeymoon here, loved it. Yes it's pricey but you do get great value for money. Lovely rooms, great food and inclusions. Punch every day, great pools and restaurant and beautiful area. We had dinner here one night, was amazing and romantic. Very accommodating for vegetarian or vegans. Pancakes at breakfast was yummy, and the tea selection was very good. We enjoyed the staff being helpful and the little touches like welcome drinks, room diffuser and water for the airport upon check out. My only two minor issues were other guests hogging the sun lounges even before 8am (they'd put a book down and not appear for hours) and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Will happily return for another getaway.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. Richard is a gem (front desk) and he helped us with excursions on many occasions. Our room had an AMAZING view of the bay. The service was fabulous, the pool was great, the restaurant had delicious food, the breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and the location is walkable to downtown Cairns (note: this hotel is at the end of town, for some, this may be a little far. For us, it was no problem. We walked everywhere).”

“My partner and I recently stayed at Kewarra Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience. The resort is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and just a stone's throw from the private beach. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The pool was an absolute highlight, as we had it mostly to ourselves. The only negative factor was that the restaurant was unfortunately closed during our visit, which wasn't advertised on the website upon booking. Overall, I highly recommend Kewarra Beach Resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Cairns.”

“I am having the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel where the reception staff left a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness and customer service. While I understand that not all encounters can be perfect, this particular hotel's reception staff consistently fell short of the mark. From the moment I arrived until today, I noticed an air of arrogance from the reception staff. There was no warm greeting or genuine smile or willingness to help. Instead, it is always dismissive attitude and a lack of willingness to assist. It felt as if they were just going through the motions, treating me as if I owed them something rather than being a paying guest. Throughout my stay, I encountered several instances where I required their assistance, only to be met with impatience and an unhelpful attitude. Whether it was requesting information about my room or hotel facilities, the reception staff always seemed inconvenienced by my requests. I had to ask them several times before they would explain things properly. P.S. Breakfast is also awful. The selection of food is miserable. It is absolutely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.”

“The resort was fantastic. The apartment I had was on the third floor overlooking the amazing infinity pool which seamlessly flows onto the lagoon. The bed linen had a few spots of mould on it . The apartment was fully self contained including washing machine and dryer . Kitchen had everything you needed including a dishwasher and the cupboards were full of cutlery, plates, bowls and cups . The pool was slightly heated to take the edge of the temperature and I spent many hours every day in it . It opens at 7am closes at 10pm . The walk down to Trinity Beach and the beachfront restaurants took a mere 3min and was flat and easy going .”

“We stayed on the ground floor in a 3bedroom poolside penthouse. We arrived after reception had closed though Natalie was still onsite to greet us, provide keys and chat with us about great places to eat in the area. Lots of room for our family of 6. Loved the easy access from our room to the pool. A huge pool and from our outdoor area able to supervise our kids in the water. A quiet place with close walking proximity to shops and dining areas. Rooms were clean with lots of space. We loved our time at Cairns Vision Apartments and I’m sure in time we will be back for another stay.”

“Enjoyed my stay here. The pool was definitely the highlight, there are a couple of different pools to pick from. Also, housekeeping staff did a great job, making up our room every day. Room was a decent size. Front desk staff were very helpful too. Only hesitations: area felt a bit unsafe - people were standing in crowds asking for money etc outside the hotel and there were a few dodgy sorts at the mall next door (I wouldn’t park my car outside or travel here as a solo female), not close to many food options at dinner time - there’s really only Red Rooster or Uber eats (expensive). Would stay here again though”
