“It is definitely a good price-quality ratio. Even when nelter things upset me. (+) High-quality, functional and clean hotel equipment in every detail. (+) Pleasant and friendly service. (-) You cannot park even in the large parking lot when the hotel is fully occupied. (-) When the hotel is fully booked, during the evening you have no chance of getting a seat in the restaurant to eat. I sat down at the bar, where no one was sitting, but the staff informed me that if the restaurant was fully occupied, they would not be able to give me a meal in two hours. So I stayed hungry. (-) Cold in the room. I hope I get to eat at least in the morning at the breakfast I paid for.”

“I reserved a suite with sitting area and bathroom and when I arrived was given a room and a shared bathroom. Please see attached pictures. Clerk was unhelpful and told me they were full and asked where I made the reservation - I showed her the confirmation from their own website…. Very nice place, but I didn’t get what I reserved and it was too late to go somewhere else. Also, very basic breakfast.”

“Good location on the river, with a short walk to town and some pleasant restaurants. Hotel is large but didn't seem too busy in September. Some of the areas seem dated but the rooms are fairly modern. The single rooms are small (with the bathroom in the room) but comfortable enough for a short stay. Particularly good breakfast room and wide range of breakfast goo.”

“We went over only for dinner at the restaurant. First the positives: the views from the place are stunning, the Rieslings and Burgunders they have are also excellent and finally just the ambiance is worth a visit. The negatives: it is impossible to get someone on the phone to make a reservation for the restaurant, having only two people wait dinner was a no-go. I felt foolish every time I had to ask or order something. Especially since one of the staff members was just learning. For the price you are paying you expect a certain standard of service and this was unfortunately not the case. Finally, the food - I have to say the quality and the presentation was excellent! But, unfortunately, it didn't meet the mark with the price. But, I think the place will only improve, so go ahead and give this place a try.”

“We stayed for two nights in the Hotel Kaiserhof in Guldental in the midst of the Nahe wine region. The hotel is very nice, with a comfortable and clean room and bathroom, very friendly service and a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but there are other options not very far.”
