Farm Wooden Spoon
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Via Prisciola, 10, 28016 Orta San Giulio NO, Italy

“The exceptional thing about Il Cucchiaio Di Legno is the attention to detail especially regarding the food they make. My wife has gluten intollerance and we had informed them of this in advance. "We will take care of it" was the response. …”

Bogogno Golf Resort
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 02:00 PM

Via San Isidoro, 1, 28010 Bogogno NO, Italy

“This review is solely based on the golf course. We played both del Conte and Bonora. Unlucky for us we played two rounds at del Conte and only one at Bonora. The condition of del Conte is really poor (September 2023). It's not worth travelling from abroad to play. Bonora is a different breed. If you decide to play here, stick with Bonora. We forwarded our complaints about the condition and the general manager gave us a discount which was appreciated.”

Hotel Ristorante L'approdo
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 02:00 PM

Corso Roma, 80, 28028 Pettenasco NO, Italy

“We stayed here for a few nights Positives: + very beatifull rooms +'some' ppl at the reception are very friendly + breakfast is ok for italian standards +amazing sights. I do recomend taking a room with lake side view +good location... even a dock for the boat tour. +delicious coffee in the morning We would love to give this hotel a 5 star review due to its amazing rooms but there are a few issues that require improvements: - as pointed above, not all receptionist staff is friendly. The blonde women around 40 plus was kind of rude to our small son because he inserted pebbles in a grid. The grid is removable and we could easily remove them so we dont see the problem in this issue... -breakfast is ok but its always the same... no variations what so ever. - prices of diner a la carte is very high. 8 euros for a glass of housewine? Then again yes, it was a good wine. - room from the bathroom to living room is a step up and its dangerous to slip out on the wooden floor... Will we come back? Probably yes, if its in last minute 😉.”

Camping Orta
4.3
( 8 reviews )

Via Domodossola, 28, 28016 Orta San Giulio NO, Italy

“Great campsite on Lake Orta taking motorhomes as well as tents. Some pitches on water's edge but you will need to be lucky to get one as they are in great demand. Most pitches are across the road on terraces, some with lake views and all with shade trees. All staff very friendly and helpful. Some pitches a bit nerve-racking to reach but doable with our 7m motorhome. Payment accepted in cash only (ATM on site).Excellent shower block. Highly recommended.”

Camping Village Lago Maggiore
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Via Salvador Dalì, 2, 28040 Dormelletto NO, Italy

“This site is very expensive for what it is, compared to resorts like Sandaya in France. The pitches had enough space, but roads were very tight for motorhomes. It was busy and quite crammed in in early September. Staff were excellent, friendly and spoke excellent English. We were grateful that when we lost our key card, the staff later told us they had found it. Price was extravagant. It was around €75 per night for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. Electric was €7 per day. The swimming pool was nothing special. The slide goes into the deep pool, which was a bit deep for me to stand in. There is an 0.8m children's pool. Unfortunately we weren't aware of the rule in Italy that bathing hats are always required. They are sold at the pool for €3 or €2 at Gigante. The playground is much more impressive. There is a noticeboard with times for entertainment at the arena, but nothing easily found online. The Gigante supermarket at the edge of the campsite- 5 min walk from our pitch - was probably the best thing about the site. The other end of the site gives access to the lake. Toilets were decent, and there are waste disposal points at each toilet block. However, because it's quite open aired, that meant the showers were always exposed to the smells from waste disposal. Hot showers is a bit of an exaggeration in the mornings. The location was handy and there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Overall, I was quite underwhelmed by the site for the cost. Everything was decent enough and okay - we would come back. It may just be the location that adds to the price, but I would look elsewhere first. I think €45-50 per night would have been more reasonable.”

Camping Lago Azzurro
4.3
( 8 reviews )

Via Enrico Fermi, 2, 28040 Dormelletto NO, Italy

“We stayed for 1 night wirh motorhome. The camping have everything you need for a short stay included friendly staff. A little bit poor electric with 3 or 6 A. If you use hot water and refrigarator in the car the fuse jump off, no Wifi but not needed for a short stay. Good price.”

Motel Piranha

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 02:00 PM

Strada Reg. 11 Novara-Vercelli, Snc, 28060 Orfengo NO, Italy

“Clean and big rooms, breakfast is normal. Service was good and personnel was kind. Just location is not the best as it is quite far from everything.”

Hotel Blue Relais Maggiore
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Via Sempione, 182, 28053 Castelletto sopra Ticino NO, Italy

“The hotel staff were very friendly and excellent. The room was clean. Breakfast was not a buffet. The breakfast is small compared to its price, and unfortunately, each person's quota was prepared the night before and kept in the refrigerator. This made the cucumbers and tomatoes shriveled.”

Laqua By The Lake
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Via Legro, 33, 28028 Pettenasco NO, Italy

“This hotel was simply wonderful.in every way imaginable. The staff were very attentive, chatty, but not in your face. They would do anything they could to make your stay as perfect as possible. Excellent with local information and ideas, marvellous with logistics (valet parking was an unexpected treat)...just genuinely lovely people who cared a lot about their service. The rooms are beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped with clean, modern top brand appliances and utensils, crockery etc. The location could not be better, quiet, exceptional views, secure behind locked gates, literally right on the lake (crystal clear, I swam in it twice). Pool clean, warm plenty of loungers and lovely fluffy towels. Restaurant is simply outstanding...best evening meal I've had in years. Exceptional. Breakfast was also very good. It's pricey, but still very good value. Special thanks to D on reception and D the Pool/Lake attendant. Lovely humans and their service was exemplary and a credit to the hotel. I/we will return.”
