“Loved my stay here. This was my first ever time staying in a hostel, and it was exactly what I needed. Friendly employees, good spaces to study/work, good security, great food! I only had one roommate in my 6 person dorm, so that was fine but I can't speak for the full experience of all travelers. The buildings seem very historic and fit neatly into the landscape of NW Portland. I feel very happy now knowing that I have a cheap place to stay and feel welcome if I'm ever back in Portland again.”

“I have stayed all over the world and my stay here was my favorite hotel experience ever! We even decided to book an additional night just because it was so magical. The view from our room was spectacular. The staff was phenomenal. Yes, Andy! He’s a treasure that really cares about making your experience first class. They all do. I could gush on and on really. Super clean. Smells yummy. Amenities rocked. Location was walking distance to anything you may need. Be careful of the Patisserie across the street. We walked out of there stuffing our faces every morning we were there!!!”

The location is excellent, right off the river easy access for jogging and to downtown. Lobby is nicely appointed and rooms are cozy and warm. Will stay again.”

“One of my favorite places to stay when in Portland! Lovely, clean, and modern hotel in a great location to get anywhere in Portland and with great food / cafes around. The service is absolutely lovely - really nice people who seem to genuinely care, like Cory from the lounge. The lounge is great too - appreciate the variety of snacks available and the delicious hot breakfast (especially those chocolate croissants)! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need plus a little more personality and color than a classic all white hotel room. 10/10 recommend!”

“Had a great stay here during a blizzard. Despite the fact that everything was shut down in downtown Portland, we enjoyed our stay there. It's a pretty swanky place to stay, with a room down in the basement where you can hang out and enjoy a beverage and catch up with friends. “We stayed there on January 1st for early flight the next day. The room and the hotel seemed well maintained and very clean. The check in and out at the front desk was pretty smooth. They provide breakfast and coffee but due to our early flight we had to grab a to go bag that they make available. It had a cookie and a apple. The hotel provides a shuttle to airport but need to give a 15 minute advance notice. Our driver was early in that regard but no issues for us as we were ready. It was very quiet there so we slept well. There is not a restaurant on site but the Hilton right next door has one. We would definitely stay there again!”

“When I arrived in Portland, I had called the hotel from the airport to see if they had a shuttle available that could pick me up, and one showed up very promptly. Michael and Jordan, especially, displayed wonderful customer service. You can tell that they love what they do, and genuinely care about their guests having an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was excellent compared to other hotels that I’ve stayed in that are similar. There were many options to choose from. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My only complaint is that inside the shower stall, there is only a small ledge for a few travel-size toiletries to fit on. There isn’t a bar to hang up your washcloth within the shower stall so I had to place mine over the top of the sliding glass door when not in use. I would definitely stay here again just for the great customer service. Thanks guys!”
