“Having stayed at this hotel when it first opened many years ago I was thrilled to come back and see the beautiful refurbished space. The bedrooms are lovely, bright, modern and spacious. The service tries hard and is mostly great but the pool area needs more attentive servers. We went with two young children and whilst the hotel were welcoming it is very much not a child friendly hotel. No children’s menus and it has a very quiet, grown up feel. Especially around the swimming pool. I think I would have enjoyed the weekend much more if it had been an adult trip!”

“To say that the service was lacking is an understatement. The rooms smell very bad, (my bathroom smelled like urine, and it is separate from the toilet). The corridors are creepy and tiny, the decor is horrible, and the rooms at the end of the corridor didn't have any wifi at all. When my parents said that the shower fills the entire bathroom with water the clerk didn't seem to care. When we asked to sit outside in a lit sitting area he blew us off not getting up from his seat when we mentioned that the garden is very dark. I can keep going but in conclusion - luckily for us we only had 1 night there and we could get away from there.”

I love the system of sharing tables in the dining room, and being served some home-cooked French food. The Provençal lentil dish was particularly yummy, and my children all advised me to get the recipe.”

“Fantastic campsite in a great location. Easy 25 minute walk into Sisteron along the River. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Massive pitches with hedges to give some privacy & trees for shade. Bread & pastries each morning if you want them. Very clean showers & toilets. Only negative for me is the sharing of toilets for men & women. I know it’s fairly normal in France but not something I particularly like. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend this campsite! 👍”

Staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Toilets & showers very clean. Easy access to the lake & various walks including up to the village above the lake.”

“Beautiful location and venue. Staff were helpful and provided us with a list of local suppliers, some good, some not so good. Extra costs, such as a lifeguard for the pool, could have been clearer from the beginning. Appreciating Clos du Tuilier are not responsible for those suppliers, I would not recommend DJ Yann. Despite multiple calls and shared playlists, he did his own thing with the music at our event.”
