“Classy experience, if it were 1980. The room didn't have a single fan, the ACs fan did not work. Plugs for phone chargers were loose. Minor to moderate damages in the rooms. For almost 300$ a night it's not worth what I paid for. Plus breakfast was $18 and not included. I had to run a load of laundry and for the entire hotel, there was ONE washer and ONE dryer. Each cycle took $1.50 in quarters. Nice that it was pet friendly, but I would not recommend to stay here to my friends just because it's pricey and does not reflect my standards of class. I will say: the "garden" had some pretty plants and had an older over-grown look that was nice. I peaked at the venue center and it was pretty! But yet again, the rooms are small and over priced for damaged goods.”

“Great service and everyone is friendly. The hotel itself is renovated but the rooms have some signs of their age. The bathroom doors are just barn doors with large gaps so beware of privacy. The front door had a large gap that let air in as well. Updated bathroom shower and sink and whatnot was nice. Has a fridge and microwave too! Parking is also not a problem and the outside is very nice looking.”

Tommy, the desk clerk, was professional and personable. His recommendation for nearby dining was perfect. Located about 15 minutes from President Reagan's library made the location convenient for our purposes.”

“Great prices for a well-kept nice hotel highly suggest staying here. I have to work and live out a hotels 22 days a month this Best Western is on my top 10 list for Budget price hotels! You can get to many restaurants and shop locations within a 5 to 10 minute walk. ☆☆☆Note to management: I give a big thank you to a housekeeper named Melissa she does excellent work keeping my room and others perfectly clean, much better than Hilton and Marriott hotels. She would be an ideal person for training any new housekeeping staff you hire. Also a maintenance worker by the name of Francisco he goes above and beyond what normal maintenance workers do it was great seeing somebody cleaning the stairwells and other parts of the hotel that don't normally get cleaned I notice all the little details at hotels I stay at. He obviously takes pride in his job and does excellent work as well. Also your manager Daniel who has helped me out with printing and faxing out work documents at the desk give him a big thank you for me as I already did. **It is people like these that make my day enjoyable seeing a well maintained building, safe parking lot. I'm sure there are many more employees here that do excellent jobs but these are just the people I have encountered the most. If I get deployed to this area again I'll be sure to stay here! My only suggestion would be having a computer and printer available in the morning to those of us here on work assignments.”

“Casa Ojai inn is a perfect place to be for your trip to Ojai. We booked a room with patio and requested a quiet room. We got what we need and the car parked right in front of our door. The front desk was welcoming and offered to be available for any help. They even recommended a good breakfast place to which we ended up going twice. The place is quiet and is 10 minutes of walking distance from main downtown Ojai. Rooms were clean. This is a bare minimum hotel where you can go up and stay , be on your own. They don't serve breakfast, they do have some coffee and snacks setup in the room and at front desk. Loved the relaxed vibe of the place. They have heated pool and sauna but we did not use that.”

They provided fresh coffee with pour over and loose leaf tea in our unit, and fresh baked cookies in the morning. We loved our stay and definitely will return.”
